Khaalida nods and looks at Riku. "Doesn't like to stay put eh? I can see that..." She chuckled, trying to mask her nervousness. "Hmm... Yesterday? Nope. Didn't receive it. Perhaps we were in a bad reception area... We spent some time in a sub-basement for most of yesterday." She shrugged. Please work... Please... Just cut me some slack... Just a little?

The white-haired vampire nods, a bright smile on his face. "Ah, that's understandable. Also..." The smile vanishes almost instantly and before Riku could even try to aid Khaalida, Axel hastily grabbed the female vampire by her scarf and slammed her against her the wall. "That's not the proper way to respond to a higher class," He hisses into her face, their noses almost touching. Riku takes a step forward. "Alright, Axel. That's enough." He says, not daring to try to pull his friend away. "She has been out for quite some time..." Axel scoffs and steps back but before giving Khaalida a final shove in which Riku flinches slightly.

Khaalida let out a meek gasp as her head slammed against the degrading wall, sending down a thin sheet of dust. She shuts her eyes to keep them from betraying her fear that was reaching her core. She bites her lip to restrain a pitiful whimper from escaping as Axel shoves her once more. "Sorry sir..." She bows her head in submission and says in a monotone voice, as though her fight and hope was knocked out of her with the display of dominance. This is one of the reasons why I left... The treatment... The berating... Though she dare not show it, one part of her was crying out for her other side to stand up.

Riku begins to move towards Khaalida but Axel's cold gaze held him back. He watches Axel smirk at Khaalida's submission before turning away. "Enough of this then. We have to go. Can't leave the King waiting." He says glancing at both vampires. "There is a small camp not too far from here, we can join them." Riku absently bit his lip. There has to be a way to avoid this... "Axel," He begins but is cut off by a shriek that seemed to come from outside. Riku blinked in confusion. A human? Axel huffed in annoyance. "Like I said, there's a camp near here with a few livestock. I guess one of them managed to escape." A sadistic grin dances on his lips. "Who wants to hunt?"

Khaalida's head snaps up at the scream. Her thirst for blood far from satiated by the rats and various other animals she's drank, she feels a chill run down her spine at the thought of thick, warm human blood. "A hunt? Its been a long time since I've had human... Sir." Just this once she lets the side she usually hides come out. Her eyes shimmer as the corner of her mouth raises into a wicked half-smile, pulling her top lip up, revealing more of her fangs. Once Axel looks away from her she mentally slaps herself and regains, what she calls, control over her vampiric side. There will be temptation tonight... Be strong... You can do this. Do it for yourself. Do it for those you left behind. Those who didn't make it.

Riku had also felt like Khaalida. His mouth watered at the thought of human blood. Unlike Khaalida though, Riku allowed his vampire side out. His fangs poked out of his lips and his pupils were dilated. "Count me in," He says, his voice husky. Axel simply nods and jumps out a nearby window, landing gracefully on another building. Riku followed, his stiff leg making him slow but he payed no mind to it. The only thing on his mind was the thought of warm, thick blood.

Khaalida leapt out the window and as she landed she tucked her head into a roll, not trusting that her legs wouldn't give out. Riku shouldn't be running on that... I wonder how long we'll be able to keep up this charade... He seems to have bought it for now... For once time is our enemy... What happens when we find the "escape livestock..." What if he tells me to do it? He wouldn't. He's the higher class. He gets first dibs, even if I catch it... It? Oh god, I'm thinking like them now... If I catch THEM, I hand them over to Axel... That's how it works. Or, at least how it did... She keeps up right behind Riku.

Axel closes his eyes and inhales deeply. After a few moments, he reopens them and points. "The livestock is that way," He says. Riku nods, his nostrils flaring. Axel leads them to lower building and surely a few feet away is a little boy kneeling besides another older looking human, his legs trapped beneath rubble. Riku sharply takes a breath, the scent of blood drifting to his nose. He hissed and gritted his teeth together, every muscle on his body screamed for him to go and kill the humans but he had to wait for further instruction from Axel. Axel didn't seemed to be affected by the smell. "I've already had my share in blood," He explains. He gestures to Riku and Khaalida to go. "This is the only time I'll be generous, got it?" Axel warns more to Khaalida than Riku, his eyes narrowing. Riku didn't have to be told twice and took off, his fangs glistening and eyes glazing with hunger.

Khaalida could smell the blood from around the corner. When her eyes meet the man and the boy her teeth begin to ache for the neck of a human. She looks to Axel as he speaks. I'm so thirsty... But its a child... I... Can't... I can, but I don't want to... But I do want to... Help me... Her pupils are dilating and contracting as her two sides fight for dominance. Not wanting to anger Axel, or hint that she doesn't desire, with all her being, the blood of the humans, she jogs after Riku. Figuring that he would also be her superior, she follows behind and will take what is left after he is done. Take the man... Please... Leave the child... Please... Why must it come to this...

The little boy glanced up, hearing Riku approach. Riku saw a flash of hope cross his eyes until his gaze landed on his mouth, where his fangs were on full display. Riku smirked as the boy shrunk back in fear, tears running down his cheeks. "Pathetic," He sneers and pins the boy down with his foot. The boy wailed and tried to get loose but Riku pressed even harder until a crack was heard. After his screaming subsided, Riku kneeled down preparing to sink his fangs into the boy's neck until the older one finally spoke. "You...monster..." The man wheezed before going to a coughing fit. Riku tilted his head, his smirk not getting any smaller. "A monster?" He echoes and goes over to him. I guess I'll drink out of you then, Riku sinks his teeth into the man's neck and drinks. He moans and closes his eyes at the warm, thick taste. The body shudders before going limp after a few moments and the little boy's wails fill the air again. After all, he did just witness a vampire kill his father.

Khaalida closed her eyes upon hearing the snap, she waited until Riku had settled on his prey until she walked over to the boy. She knelt down beside him, and turned his head to face her. She leaned down towards his neck. "Shhh..." She whispered. She could smell the nervous sweat on his neck, and the blood rushing through the vein next to her ear. She closed her eyes and focused on speaking. "Relax... I'm not like them..." She took a deep breath. "Trust me... I'm going to help you..." She turned her head slightly and sunk her fangs barely beneath the skin, just enough to draw some of the thick warm liquid. She held her breath to focus her mind further, she took a small sip of his sweet young blood. She sat up enough so her face was in front of his. "Trust me..." She whispered once more in a soothing voice. She sat up the rest of the way and turned to Axel. "Sir? May I keep this one? His blood is so sweet... To waste such a delicious supplier of delectable sustenance seems a pity. May I keep him sir?" She said in a voice she had not used in a long time. It was cold, yet, sultry.

After draining the man dry, Riku pulled back blood dripping from his chin. He swept his tongue across his lips to get the last of it. A chuckle escaped his mouth as he stared at the body in front of him Riku felt better now, refreshed actually drunken by blood. He turned to Khaalida, disappointed to find that she had not drink all of the boy's blood. His eyes narrowed, figuring that she wanted to save the human.
Axel scratched his neck glancing at the boy and Khaalida. "If that's what you want," He mutters. "I don't want this livestock to be with us that long so I expect him to be gone by tomorrow, got it?" Axel hissed. He then sniffed the air, catching a whiff of something else. "Ah...were not alone..."

Khaalida nodded at the approval of her request. She stood up grabbing the boy's wrist rather roughly and pulling him up to her. Her grip on the boy relaxed and she shot him a, hopefully, reassuring glance before she lifted her head inhaling deeply. I know that smell... Its that hunter... And that girl... Her eyes narrowed on the corner of the nearby building. She licked a small drip of blood from the corner of her mouth, not just for the sensation and sustenance, but for show, so Axel would see that she did drink. "I know them... They're the two that were hunting us..." Her voice is void of all emotion, save one. Hatred. That hunter... He is the only human I do want to sink my teeth into and drain every last drop of his blood... The thought made her eyes shimmer in the suns rays.

Riku stood, his gaze settling on the direction to where Draco and Hinami were. "They still haven't stopped looking for us?" He growls, his words slightly slurred. His grin got wider and a small chuckle escaped his lips. Riku was still in his drunken state causing Axel to roll his eyes. "Don't hurt yourself," Axel says handing one of his swords to Riku. He turns to Khaalida. "You should put away your little snack for now, they might try to take him away."

Khaalida turned to the boy. "Stay here... When you get the chance run in the direction those humans came from..." She whispers. When she turns around she sees Draco running at Axel. Where's the girl? Her eyes narrow upon her blade in his hand. "My katana..." She hisses as she steps towards Draco, who was almost upon Axel. I will take my revenge...

"Hmm?" Axel watched Draco lunging towards him with curiosity. To his eyes, Draco was moving impossibly slow. He easily stepped to the side, the human flying past him. "You have to try harder than that," Axel notes while drawing his sword.
Riku on the other hand, was still trying to comprehend what was happening. He managed to figure out that the human girl was attacking Khaalida and the other hunter was with Axel. Riku tightened his grip on Axel's blade, considering on who to help. He was broken from his thoughts as he realized that the little boy was running off and disappeared around the building. Riku smirked and followed the little boy.

Khaalida sees Hinami's scythe heading for her legs and she leapt over it performing a shoulder roll to her feet. She turns and glares at her. "We meet again... This time I will not be so gracious... I have a scar on my ankle that has kept you fresh in my mind..." She hisses as she begins circling. I wonder what your blood tastes like... Probably a nice combination of salty and sweet... Her eyes glimmered with a hunger, her teeth glistened, still somewhat red from the boy, both strangers to her features.
(Really? I think I write okay, but I really love your writing!)

Hinami watches the vampire circle around her, her fangs glistening with blood. I guess you had a meal... She tightens her grip on her weapon. "I guess we're on the same page," Hinami says, her tone cold. A small chill ran up her spine as she gazed into Khaalida's eyes. I got this. No expression occupies her face.
Riku continued to follow the boy. I can use it against the humans... He thinks with delight. Riku easily captures the livestock, it once again making a small wail. "Shut it," Riku growls and shakes the boy like a toy. "I'm not as nice as Khaalida."

Khaalida didn't blink as she lunged at Hinami, for once utilizing her vampiric speed. "I guess so." She says in a tone of emotionlessness. Her vision seemed to fade in and out, as though she was losing control of her body. She started seeing herself from the outside, seeming to be a spectator in her own life. What am I doing? I am not like other vampires... I'm not... Stop... Stop! What is going on? She had let her other side out and it had taken control, Khaalida was simply an observer of someone else controlling her body.
(You are quite welcome!! Your writing is actually very very good!)

Hinami jumped back a bit to late, causing her to stumble. She's...different... She examines the vampire before her, noticing a small change. Focus, Hinami lunges once again and swings her weapon.

Also, Axel might seem bit overpowered but that's not the case. Its mostly just cause he's a Noble and all that, but! he does have a small weakness. :3 (Also, Riku is just chilling for right now :P )
