(Too late, ehehe.

Deciding to start in the capital country. It makes the most sense as to why a bunch of random people would be gathering there. I can't read the city names so I'm leaving that up to you guys. TvT)

Alastar Aisling casually strolled through the grand capital city of Alacard. What was its name again? I've passed through so many towns they're all starting to blur together. The sun beat down upon his back as he weaved his way through the crowd, stopping to look at an outdoor shop that piqued his interest every now and then. He tried to pass under as many trees and shady overhangs as he could, but he could feel his arms and face getting crispier by the second since it was too hot to wear his tactician's coat, which was draped over his left forearm.

I can't wait until winter, that's the one time the weather doesn't make me uncomfortable, he thought dully as he exchanged a few coins for an apple, and settled down under some nearby shade under a tree at the side of the cobbled road. That was the one good thing about this country: at least in this tree-covered land there was plenty of shade to go around. He nearly grimaced as he remembered the mistake he'd make passing over the plains in the heat of summer. Frisk, Alastar's caribou pack animal (who was currently at a nearby stable to avoid too much attention), had seemed like it was about to collapse from heat exhaustion, along with its owner.

"At least the food is good," he mumbled under his breath before biting into his apple. Up north, they weren't able to grow fruit, and it was rare to see it come in from trade caravans or ships. Even then, it was dried fruit, which wouldn't spoil during the long journey. Apples were a particular favorite of Alastar because of their crispness, but he would take almost any that he could get his hands on. Except lemons. He had tried eating one once, and immediately regretted it. Of course it was only after that he learned that the juice was only used for flavoring, and in small amounts.

Beau: //wandering through the marketplace munching on a loaf of freshly made bread. It wasnt often he made his way down to Rosthenia, the capital city of Alacard. He wasnt wearing a majority of his armor due to Alacard's humid summer months. He was extremely used to the fridged snowy cold of Niseria, where he had been born and grown up at. Beau always enjoyed traveling which is the reason he had made his way down to Alacard, but there was another reason aswell.

On his way through Ekwa, he heard whispers and rumors about a crazed man that plans to scatter the land with blood. Something else about war and a dragon. He had heard of a similar story, one of his favorites, of a Sorcerer who brought life back to a dragon whos power could destroy the world and how the noble Prince of Yllise had slew the beast and brought peace back to the world. But that happened 500 years prior. He wondered if someone had a similar plan to do so to Macaria.

Serene whistled quietly as she stalked through the crowded streets. She wiped the sweat from her forhead, though careful not to move the bandana obscuring her face too much. She'd been here for a few weeks already, but she still wasn't used to such warm temperature. Honestly, the merchant in front of her probably wasn't worth all this effort. She'd been following the older fellow for a few days already, but every moment she'd had the opportunity to grab his money, there was always an obstacle in her way.

She bit into an apple she'd nabbed earlier, silently cursing everything around her while she tried not to tug her clothes too much. She glanced around, observing anything that could possibly ruin her chances of success. She sighed loudly, throwing another glare at her mark.

((Sweats loudly))

Baeu: //he noticed the seemingly very suspicious person walking around so covered by dark cloth. He approaced them and tapped them gently on the shoulder/ Excuse me, sir? You look very hot in that. Why would you let so much heat get to you like this //he asked the girl, unknowing of her actual sex. His kind oblivious gesture might put him in a little danger. He didnt know what to do afterward so he stood there rather awkwardly awaiting a response

I crested the small hill to be greeted by the sight of Rosthenia, Alacard's magnificent capital. I stood there for a moment, soaking it all in. I had almost made it. The journey from Ekwa had been rough, but I was finally here. Hopefully once I got inside those gates someone would know where I could get more magical training. The sun beat down on my back, warming my very bones. It reminded me of home. I started down the hill towards the gates.

Once inside I could hardly believe how many people there were. Sure I should have expected it, seeing as it's the capital, but it had never occurred to me how sheltered a life I had been living. Ducking into a side street gave me a bit more breathing room. The small shadowy alley felt much more inviting than the crowded streets. I know that seems stereotypical, the Dark Mage liking dark places, but the crowds were to much for me. It felt like my mind was bumping into everyone else. The city practically hummed with the thoughts of its citizens. A cold breeze rushed through the narrow space. Pulling my cloak tighter around me, I walked quickly through the various alleys. Eventually I found myself in an open market. The smell of fresh food filled my nose, while the sounds of penned animals filled my ears. I moved among the various booths, checking the price of things that looked tasty, or seemed useful. Everything was to expensive. I only had a few coins. Most of my money along the way had been spent on food and shelter, even though I could have camp outside instead. Walking along the cobblestone street, I spotted a few nice shade tree. Sitting back against one, I pulled outs small pack. Inside were the last of my food reserves. A few slices of dried fruit and some smoked meat. Sighing I pulled out the unsatisfactory meal and began eating.

Serene snapped her head towards the stranger that dared lay a hand on her, ready to snap at, or something belonging to, him. She, being the professional she was, quickly caught her composure. She cleared her throat, before attempting the most masculine voice she could manage- which was pretty hard considering she wasn't ten anymore. "It's simply what i'd perfer to wear, sir. I'm quite used to this temperature." She lied, glancing back at the merchant. "Now, if you'll excuse me.."

Serene sighed in relief, glancing back at the stranger who'd approached her. "Guess that's what I get for sticking out like a sore thumb-" she murmured, inching ever closer to the old merchant. Any second now she thought, cracking her knuckles subconsciously. She'd need to make a quick escape- no way someone'd not notice her, apparently.

Baeu: //he whipped out his flask and took a drink of the water inside. He cringed at the taste. It was stagnet from staying in there for a few days, on top of the heat made it rather lukewarm and not very refreshing. He just poured the rest of it on himself hoping he could cool down. There was a possibility of finding fresh water in a nearby pond or lake

A few overly-sweaty minutes later, Serene lunged forward, grabbed the man's coin purse and was already halfway down the street before people had started to panic. Shouting Stop him!, or Thief! was all anyone seemed to be doing, oddly enough. She ran down different streets and alleyways, throwing off her 'disguise' as she ran. A few minutes later, she stopped in an empty alley, panting heavily and giggling like a child.

Serene glanced at her pursuer, before she rolled her eyes dramatically. "Oh really? Why didn't you stop me, then? Huh?" She taunted, reaching for her own weapon.

Serene grinned, relaxing slightly. "Oh my, you're not much of a ladies man, are you? Honestly if just me being a woman,-" she gestured to herself, while she scanned the area for exits. "-gets you this flustered. I wonder just how red you'd get if I.." she trailed off, humming loudly as she pretended to consider something. "Oh, probably very red indeed-"

"I won't be going anywhere? Who's gonna stop me? It certainly can't be you-" She said mockingly, tossing the stolen coin purse from hand to hand. She did, however, finally grab her Bronze Dagger after another minute. "-I'd love to see you try, though~"

Shouting from up the street drew my attention. A woman flew past me, with a man hot on her heels. They both went into one of the alleyways. I followed, entering the alley from the opposite side. The woman was obviously a thief, and the man was trying to stop her. I couldn't quite make out what they were saying, but when the man drew his sword and prepared to swing. I knew I had to do something. Stepping around the corner, I spoke in a calm stern time. "Now, now, that's no way to treat a lady is it?" I noticed the dagger in the woman's hand. Even with the weapon she would have a hard time taking the man. I quickly hexed the man, ensuring that any strike the woman made would hit its mark

Serene cackled, before blowing him a kiss. "Now now, don't be so grouchy- you're all alone with a pretty lady, and this is how you act? Tsk" She sighed, before she started walking towards him.

Baeu: //he continued to stand there, weapon armed ready for attack, when he felt a weird feeling loom over him. He felt rather weak and vulnerable but didnt have any signs to show for it rather than being shakey and cold beads of sweat dripping off of his face
