They'll take as long as needed, there's no definitive time frame that we're working with.

Well last time that applications were open there was also an influx of new users which also included an influx of Applicants. Considering there are even more now it could take some time so patience will be important. Moderators work as fast as they can but you got to keep in mind there is a reason why they are looking for more Moderators to begin with, which is for the help in managing all the new users that arrive.

Not that it is my place to say but if you are already asking when the first round will be over, should lead you to question if you have the patience to manage users that will require your patience. In any case like CatLady said there is no definitive time frame, could take weeks or months it is completely dependent on the amount of applicants and the available time of the Moderators. Because we all know that apart from being a Moderator on Pokeheroes they all have separate lives to attend to as well. You can rest assure that if you move on to the next round you will know for now please be patient.

I'am confident that the staff will choose the right people^^.

as for me, modesty also makes a good moderator. I don't like how some people do minimodding or act up, although they aren't even mod-in-training.
You will never earn any respect by looking down on others, just be yourself and genuine...

also, not to get me wrong, i'am not an applicant, only posting my thoughts as a user...

@UmbreonKitty as far as your post i guess 1 year is a lot and you are at lvl 9 which means you are not active over here but you should not call yourself 'useless' as it is a Moderator's post is a crucial post to handle and it needs fair co-operation and proper time-contribution should also be a must. :)

... I think the main is that a user must have enough Experience with this site to become a moderator. There are many user here who really loves this site and work for the right and have this Experience :3 .. And it is very importand to have many time for being online. I wish all this user good luck :)

Pardon me for asking, and it's fine if you can't or don't want to tell, but...
Around how many users made (or are going to make) it to round two? I don't remember the exact number, but I believe very few made it last year. So, just wondering, would more make it this year, or around the same number?

I went back and looked, last mod applications only 18 people had made it to round two.

With round two you mean the MIT phase or? Because technically, round two already started. (If you applied, check the panel!) 27 users made it into round two.

And about the MIT phase - it pretty much depends on how many we think are qualified to become an MIT/a mod. We're not looking for a specific number - the more the better, to be honest ;). So yeah, everyone we think seems well-suited for the job will gladly be accepted.

Oh alright, I knew some people had already made it into round 2, but I was unsure if everyone knew if they had moved on or not, that's why I asked.

And alright, I'd just like to say best of luck to those 27, and don't be discouraged to the others who applied!
