Seatran's type is Water/Steel. But Seatran's environment has nothing to do with steel, because it is in the sea. So I suggest Seatran's type should be Water/Ground, because it's in the sea. On the bottom of the sea is sand, you can see that on his feet. I think Water/Ground fits better on Seatran. If you have some things I can add, don't hesitate to comment.

Remember it's just another version of Heatran. It has to share at least one of its types, as ALL of the other events do. (All 7 harvest sprites are psychic + other type, Buttercream is ice/flying, clawfa is fairy dragon). No support.

True, but I think they had to design it a little bit different if it had to be steel (not criticize the spriters it looks great). I know it has to have a type in common but design it a little bit different then. Also I wouldn't say its a tropical island. It has sea in it so I automatically think about a sea. Thanks for reading and commenting it helps me to look things up before I post. :)

Theoretically, Steel could exist under water, other than in ship wrecks. Steel is a material made by melting Iron in or near a source of Carbon, such as charcoal. With things like pressure, volcanic vents, and the fact that many islands and shores are now deep under water, Steel could exist in a non man-made form, which agrees with the Pokemon's design, it looks like its feet are in sand.

I'm not 100% sure why the coconut is there though .-.
and I don' wanna know where it came from.

I think Riako thinks about tropical island when see ocean and thats why there is a coconut there

but, why change desing? its SEAtran. it needs to look like Sea. it is already perfect.

I understand what you're saying, Kingdra, and it makes perfect sense. But we should have event Pokemon keep at least one type that their counterparts have. If it weren't for that then it probably would be water/ground.

Not a bad suggestion, but it wouldn't fit in too well.
