As you probably have noticed, the Emera Square has been released as of July 1st. The currency used there are called Festival Points. If you get enough Festival Points, you can exchange them for evo. Items, Meleotta Eggs and with a really high ammount of Festival Points, a Shiny Meleotta Egg. There is no Guide for this yet, so I decided to create it. I got permission from Liirah.

Bug Hatching Contest:

In the Bug Hatching Contest, you need to click the Bug Pokemon in order to get Points. After you play the Game, you can choose between 3 Bug Eggs. The Eggs contain one of the following Pokemon:

Weedle
Scyther
Pinsir
Ledyba
Heracross
Wurmple
Surskit
Shedinja
Volbeat
Illumise
Larvesta

After the Egg Hacthes, you can rate it. You get 1/4 of the Points your Pokemon gets after rated in Festival Points. If you rate a Pokemon for a second time, you won't get Festival Points The contest lasts from the 1st of every month until the 7th. At the 9th of the month, the top 20 are displayed in the Contest's page.

Beauty Contest:

In the Beauty Contest you have to complete a tasks to win Accessories or Backgrounds. There is a chance that you get Accessories or Background for free, without completing any task. Here is a list with all tasks you can get (I am not really sure about the ammount of things you need to do):

Flip the Coin X times!
Buy a Plushie at the Dream World Shop and send it to another user!
Reach Level X at the Higher or Lower Game!
Solve X Hangmen!
Make X interactions!
Hatch an egg!
Play the Treasure Hunt X times!
Lucky! There is no task for you!
Interact with X's Pokémon!
Check out the Auction House and bid on an interesting Pokémon! Good luck.
Feed X berries to Pokémon!
Raise your X's Level to X

For every task you complete you get a small ammount of Festival Points. If you don't like the task you were given, you can skip it. If you skip it, you have to wait for 30 minutes to get a new task. You can equip the Accessories on your Pokemon and choose one of your backgrounds to take a photo. Every photo you take costs 100 PD. After you take a photo you can Share it, Delete it or Sign up for the Contest. The Beauty Contest starts at the 14th of every month. After 7 days the public voting starts. Since the first contest isn't over yet, I don't really know what happens next. I will update this once this Beauty Contest ends.

There's also a Team Aqua background (not just assuming based on Team Magma and Team Flare - I actually just got it). ^^

Ive got some problems with the beauty contest :(
First, since I skipped my task, I havent seen any tasks.
Theres only the welcome Text that says I should get some. And the votes of course, I can at least vote. Oh, and I have already waited for more than one day...

Second, I cant sign up a Photo I made for the contest. Every time I click on Sign Up, the text says "There is no active contest!" I dont get that. I thought the contest should last until the 24th?

I think there should probably be something on the prizes that people get.
From my observations, I'm pretty sure only the top 1000 entries get Festival points.
I'm very curious about the top prizes though (1st, 2nd, and 3rd); do they get something more than festival points? Or do they just get a whole ton of points?

For the beauty contest, you must have bought the key item ''fashion case'' in order to store your accesories. I guess you can't complete any task without that :/

In the public voting,everyone can rate images with stars(from 1 to 10; 1=really bad,10=amazing).People can get festival points by voting too.
The voting takes place for 3 days.On 24th emera mall publishes the results(the pokemons get ranked based on their average ratings).And the users get fp based on their pokemon ranks

Once the voting starts, that's what you do. You can't enter new pictures or get extra accessories. You'll have to wait a month for that.
