Hi, so my suggestion is basically the opposite of subscribing to a post. I would like an ability(maybe a button next to post New message or subsribe) to block/hide forum posts.

This suggestion is similar to Navuso's suggestion, but I would just like singular posts to be blocked, not a player as a whole
For example, let's say I don't want to see any role-playing posts(just using as a example, no bad blood intended to you rpers out there), I could go into the post and block it and make it not come up again.
the block would include hiding it from the forum overview/newest posts. And maybe add a page where you are able to unblock forum posts as well.

Thoughts?

Or, maybe, you could just not subscribe?

From what I understand.

OP doesn't want to see certain threads while looking through the "newest posts" section of the forum. He is not suggesting anything related to seeing new posts from a thread in notifications. So saying not to subscribe to a thread isn't really an answer, because you can still see the thread when looking at the forums.

Honestly. I'm a bit neutral. Yes it's annoying to go through the newest posts section and see nothing but roleplays(especially the ones where it's nothing but one-liners that post every five seconds) when I want to see threads from other sections(like suggestions and fanmades)

But really, I'm not sure if this is actually a necessity. And like subscriptions you'd probably have a limit, so you're still going to see threads that you don't want to see.
