"I'm out!" Locke shouted, tossing away his pistol and taking out a dagger. Dutch wasn't doing much better. He tossed his final grenade. The ORIONs were, for the first time in their careers, out of ammo and out of ideas. The tanks were still firing, one of the Vultures had crashed and any number of Hornets were spinning around, out of control, the soldiers on the landing skis struggling to keep balance.

For what must have been the billionth time in a few days, Faith was sick with herself for gorging on the Goblins. But it was the easiest way to kill them, and at the same time provided her with energy. She darted back and forth among the ranks of the Order, healing those that she could. When she neared the Chaos Minions, she was greeted with cries of traitor and several other curses she did not bother mentioning.

(Yes, I am an idiot.)

Locke looked around. A soldier fell nearby to a barrage of superheated plasma, courtesy of some magicians. He snatched up the soldier's weapon and started shooting again. Dutch was having no such luck. He decided to get up close and started punching any Chaos minions that got near him.

Faith growled as she leapt on top of the Demonspawn, pinning it down with her weight. The Demonspawn in reply kicked her off and took to the skies.

"Well, yes. Sort of." Faith answered as she landed behind Dutch and Locke. "You have to cut him to pieces, and then burn said pieces, before finally scattering the ashes. For particularly powerful ones, it's easier to use a flaming sword." She explained.

Faith roared as she shot yet another fireball at the Demonspawn. Being what it was, the attack missed.

'If you want to have a chat with me, at least wait until this war has ended.' A voice said, even as a tall elf teleported into the battlefield. She turned to look at the Demonspawn. 'But first things first, why are you shooting fireballs at a Demonspawn?'

"What else do you expect me to do?" Faith asked back. The Demonspwan gave a shriek of unholy terror. The Elf tilted her head and smiled. 'Nothing else.' She answered. She unsheathed her own pistol, a heavily modified handgun set to shoot flaming bullets. How it didn't burn itself, she wouldn't tell.
