"To be fair, the previous cycle lasted only several thousand years with sentient life." Copper added, "So it is not the most accurate measurement."
Sliuril gave Jack a grin. "Don't worry, I won't drag you into that fight if it comes to it, since Cooper's obviously herself."
"We could also Co-Op agaisnt Draugnur."
"Seconded." Faith grunted.b

Character’s Name: Ur-Didact
Gender: Male
Age: Eons
Species: Forerunner
Appearance:Here.
Character’s Past History: The Didact was a Forerunner leader. Imprisoned for millennia on a Shield World, he was recently released as a result of the Order-Chaos war. He tracked down his ship, the Cryptum, and has been keeping a generally low profile. Sudden energy spikes in Aurora drew his attention.
Special Powers: A form of advanced telekenisis.
Personality: Tough and to the point, but extremely loyal and can prove to be very selfless.
Side: (can also be neutral if you want) Neutral
Other: I have no idea how the Copper thing would alter interactions between them.

"You overestimate me." Sliuril replied. "It's a toss-up."

Didact leaned over the desk, looking at the charts and readings displayed on the walls. They had to be wrong. Over the last few days, the energy readings in the human city in the middle of the desert had been fluctuating like crazy. If they were right, he had to know what it was. He certainly didn't want to fight anything as powerful as that. However, as a precaution, he kept the Cryptum's weapons hot as it approached its destination.

"Nor one of our crafts." Evan grunted, several of his men coming to the square to gawk.
"Oh, that's mine." Copper tossed.
"I don't recall you having that. I would know, since I destroyed most of your stuff."
"No, I don't mean directly. But it is one of my designs."

Jack glanced at Copper. "And let's say I wanted to destroy it. How difficult would that be?" He asked.

"Copper, I have no idea what that thing is made from. Can we blow it up or not?"
"Sure, just use what you have powering that soldier's armor." Copper answered, pointing to Naomi. "Nice find, by the way. Is she your paramour?"

Jack tilted his head. "Could we say no?" He asked Sliuril and Copper quietly.

"Truly sister, that hurts."
"Please shut up. And let's have a civil conversation." Naomi muttered.

"Right," the Didact said, "which one of you is in charge?"

Sliuril muffled Copper with a quick spell, not entirely sure how well it would go over if Copper just claimed a race that had been independent for several millennium.
"In charge of the city would be the Priestess." Sliuril said, gesturing to Kat. "In charge of the army, me and the dragon. In charge of the dragon, the SPARTAN and most of the Immortals here, me again. In charge of Jack of Blades, jack himself."

Beneath the Mask, Jack was grinning. He leaned towards the others. "Who's telling him?"

"Look, if we told you it was dealt with, would you leave?" Jack asked.
"No." The Didact replied plainly.

"How old are you?" Copper asked, cutting in. "Because I don't remember you and obviously my dear sister hasn't slaughtered you from our last war."

Even as he spoke, he thought about what Sliuril had said. Several months- that wasn't acceptable. He'd have to find some way to figur it out here.
Jack elected to remain silent.

"Sliuril, how dare you! How many of them-"
Sliuril sighed. "It was war, Copper, and you pitted them against me. It's as if you weren't aware of my destructive potential."

"You didn't seriously kill them all, did you?" Copper asked, slightly worried.
"It wasn't genocide. I spared whoever didn't try to kill me." Sliuril argued.
