"Hush, both of you, and let me concentrate on the wards-" Sliuril started to say, but was cut off as she cried out in pain. It was as if fire was consuming her from within and without - a sensation she was somewhat familiar with. Faith was on alert in seconds, ready to pounce in a milisecond at the slightest sound. "No, no, none are near..." Sliuril whimpered.

"Then what the he'll was that about?" Dutch asked. Lowering his weapon.

Locke, who had reached the Dawn and had been listening via Dutch's helmet's receivers let out his pent breath.

Faith hissed, as she helped Sliuril stand. "Seers. Spys. Whatever you call those blasted things. A good load of them, too."

"Yeah..." Dutch said slowly, looking around. "Where about are they?" He asked.

Faith resisted the urge to facepalm. Sliuril only shook her head, and she would have said something if the mere act of think did not cause her migraine to worsen. "Dutch, Seers are capable of seeing over long distances. That's why they're called seers, you idiot." Faith snapped. Odd. Has she always been this snappy? Oh, right, the bond was open. Which meant Sliuril was drawing on her strength. Which meant she was just plain snappier.

"Yeah, but just because they can see long distances doesn't have to mean that they're a long way away, does it?" He pointed out.

Faith let out something between an irritated growl and a roar. "They're called Seers, you idiot, because they're capable of seeing through solid matter, liquid, whatever! And unless you don't know, if there were any enemies nearby, I would have known!" Faith snapped.

"S**t, what's her problem?" Dutch asked Sliuril. "And I'd like my answer in plain English, please."

Sliuril just shook her head, focusing on trying to stop leeching from Faith's energy.

Character’s Name: Glaurug
Gender: Male
Age: Nearly as old as the world, only out-aged by the Seven, and several others.
Species: Questionable - he is definitely part Fae, as far as we know.
Appearance: here
Character’s Past History:
As his gear hints, he was once associated with Order. He's somewhat like Concord's 'pet' assassin who happens to be smitten by Faith when he saw her 'beating the cr*p out of Concord' for threatening Sliuril. Has admired her from afar, but now he is sent on a mission to help ensure that there are no diplomatic incidents.
Special Powers:
Unlike the Dragon and Elf's flashy magic, his type of magic integrates Order technology into his fighting style, resulting in his glowing 'hands' being able to retract, fold and move so that he may appear as a human. He kills pretty straightforwardly, just slicing off throats, beheading things, etc.
Personality:
Calm, cool and collected, but he is quite emotional sometimes, and he cannot stand interacting with Faith without being somewhat awkward.
Side: Order
Other:

Jack looked around. He was achieving nothing by just standing there. He summoned the Minion commander. "Take a platoon of your best. Capture them and bring them here. Make special arrangements to capture the dragon." He said. The commander growled in affirmative and was gone as soon as he had come.

(Well, why would they want the dragon, hmm?)

"Her problem, Didact, is that she is trying to prevent a dozen Seers from spying on this little group we have here." Glaurug pointed out as he faded out from the shadows of the trees. "And she seems to be doing a remarkably good job of it was well, after being back from the dead for only a few months."

( Well, a dragon's a damn dragon, right? I mean, a bunch of mutant dogs aren't gonna capture a dragon. That's what I meant.)

"We should get moving." Dutch said, shouldering his weapon. "Damn straight." Locke said over the external com, so everyone near Dutch could hear. "The base just detached a bunch of enemies, they're heading towards you."

"Fine." Faith snapped, easily lifting Sliuril onto her back. Glaurug smirked and said, "Dear, don't I get a ride as well?" He asked coyly. Faith's wing lashed out towards him. He flew up, and then landed behind Didact.

"Whoa! " Dutch said. "Er... who's the... er... nevermind, as long as he's Order." He said, looking at Glaurug. "Let's just go."

"Oh, right. You're the ORION warriors from that failed project - designed specifically to withstand and destroy Chaos minions, but your whole order practically died from one flimsy dragon attack." Glaurug noted absently.

"Yeah, well, screw you." Locke and Dutch chorused. "And it was more of an Elf attack with only five years of experience under our belt. I mean, we were still in the first stage." Dutch said. "Don't make excuses." Locke said over the silent radio. "That was a mission failure on my behalf."

"Excuses, excuses." Glaurug taunted menacingly at them. "I mean, you had the whole squad with you, what could have been so hard? Home base advantage, as well. Face it, you were just useless."

"He's pissin' me off, Locke."
"No."
"C'mon, just one punch?"
"No."
"Can I give him the lecture on disrespecting our fallen brothers and sisters?"
"Go ahead."

"Something tells me that was not good?" Sliuril questioned as she slipped off Faith, recovered. "Glaurug, keep off my dragon or you will suffer." She snapped.

"You see? I'd like to see you try and take on the Elf and five hundred of those cheap knock off ORION IIs." Dutch said. "Just drop it, kid." Locke said.
