"Let's take into account the thousands of dead soldiers, billions of credits will be needed for repairs, the overall cost of repairing both our armors accounting for seventy five percent of that... in short, better than usual."

Sliuril and Faith followed Dutch and Locke. Plus, Sliuril wanted to have 'a word' with the General, for some reason she wouldn't divulge to Faith.

"We've come here to debreif." Locke said. "What's there to say? The attack came from the south: Castle Base. That's your next stop. You'll have to go through the forest. You're less likely to get spotted. A lot of goblins escaped. They know we have a dragon and an Elf." Whitcomb finally turned around. "Speaking of the Elf..."
"I'm gonna have a talk about that with her soon. Better sooner than later." Locke said.
"Yes." Whitcomb said. "One last question. Where the hell did the Elf come from?" he asked.

Locke sighed. The General had never been one for trust, let alone forgiveness.

(Eldar Creatures: Creatures from the dawn of creation itself, very powerful and only grows more powerful with age. There are a total of seven of these creatures, the Elf, the Dragon, the Lion, the Immortal Human, the Mech, the Basilisk, and the Pegasus. [Yes, that one. The one which belongs to Hercules.] All are extremely dangerous when roused, and wither way they're immortal, nigh unkillable for most, and ridiculously hard to wound.)

Locke remembered. He had been five, playing King of the Hill with his friends. Of course, he had the hill. As he threw another friend off, a woman came over. "Jameson, I need a word with you." she had taken him aside. Locke had held out a hand and she shook it. "What were you doing?" she asked, examining his black eye and bleeding lip.
"Winning." Locke had answered. The woman had smiled. "What else do you play?"
"Nothing. Board games are too easy for me and they banned me from GravBall. But if you asked them..." he had said hopefully. "No. But I have a game for you." She had taken out a coin. "Look at this. One side has a head, the other-"
"An eagle."
"Yes. You have to guess which side it will land on. If you win, you can keep it." She threw the coin into the air. Locke snatched it up before it hit the ground and said "Eagle." He opened his palm. The eagle looked up at them. "Let's play again." Locke had said. "That was the only one I had." the woman said. Then she walked over to a man, Lieutenant Lasky, and said "Tell me you recorded that." But Locke hadn't cared. He had run back to his friends, waving the coin.
Then he realised that the evacuation ship he had gotten onto had gone in a different direction from the others. He contemplated this new information.

"Not like I'm gonna say no."
"Why did me and Locke survive?" Dutch asked Sliuril.

Faith grunted as she pulled out a bullet from the goblin carcass. It was odd for a bullet, with runes carved into it. "Poisoned bullets." Faith said, as she spat it out. "I commend you, General. Dragonsbane, too. It would have killed a full-grown dragon with one shot."

(If you don't know what they're speaking, the elf uses some Greek and also Japanase, while Faith uses German and French. You'll know which is which.)
