The shiny wonder trade has just been implemented and I think it's
amazing. Yet there are people complaining about how they put in
rare shines and onky got out easy rarity shinies.
My suggestion is that whatever rarity pokemon you put in, That's
the rarity you get out. Say you put in, a weedle. Weedles rarity is
easy. So instead of you getting a pokemon with rarity rare, you get
another pokemon with rarity easy.
You get what you put in to put it simply.
I know it's literally been half an hour since the first SWT, but it
would help balance things out slightly.
If you don't like this suggestion or if you want to suggest how to
improve it, please comment.
The whole point of the wonder trade system is that you don't know
what you will get. In a normal wonder trade, you can put in any
rarity and get any rarity out. The shiny wonder trade should be the
same. If there is a shiny that you don't want to lose than don't
put it up. If you don't like the shiny you got, put it up again the
next day and maybe you'll get a shiny with a special rarity.
The SWTs don't rake place every day, it's every 3 days. I
understand it's a mystery, and the normal WT is fine. But shiny
Pokemon are a lot rarer and harder to get, meaning you'd get back
whatever you put in.
Then put it up in three days. I'm just explaining why I don't think
anything is wrong with the Wondertrade. It's the whole point of it.
I know shiny pokemon are harder to get and if you don't want to
lose a certain shiny, you don't have to put it up.

But what if you don't want a certain shiny, can't get rid of it and
need to put it in the SWT? You don't want the shiny, but you want
soemthing of about the same rarity.
Then keep putting it in the wondertrade till you get something you
want. That's the beauty of the wondertrade. You can put a shiny
ninetales in, get a shiny weedle out, put the shiny weedle in and
get a shiny rayquaza in return. Thats literally the whole point of
the wondertrade. If you haven't been able to get rid of the shiny,
then waiting 3 days for the next new wondertrade shouldn't be a
problem.

Maybe they shouldn't put up a Shiny Rayquaza(it is.. I believe)
then if what they got would annoy them. And, again, they can put up
whatever they didn't like in 3 days and possibly get something just
as cool.
It's not a bad idea. It just goes against the whole point of the
wondertrade.

Goddess is right, since when had wondertrade in pokemon oras and x
and y ever let you choose a rarity of pokemon, this wouldn't help
at all think of it this way,WONDER in WonderTrading is
basically wondering what you will get. It's their fault for putting
that shiny in so why should it be made easier, if it was then what
if no one put a shiny legendary in? Then they would get NOTHING.
No support I agree with Nessy and why should we have this if people
are just going to put easy rarity shinies in the shiny wonder
trade? I doubt anyone would put in shiny legendaries so if someone
does then what would happen with it if the are no other shiny
legendaries in wonder trade?
No Support,
That just ruins the purpose of the ShinyWonderTrade and the word
'wonder', it has the word wonder because it's meant to be random,
if we keep receiving the same pokemon rarity over and over, i would
be really depressed.
Also, as someone has said imagine wondertrading in pokemon games on
the Ds, those wont trade the same rarity to different users over
and over again.
To add to all that, what if i put up a rare shiny pokemon or medium
rarity, and there isn't enough for another user to receive a shiny
and would have to wait until the next SWT comes along.
Further more, if you don't want to get bad shinies, just don't set
up the SWT up, it's that simple. If you don't like the pokemon you
have gotten wait for the next SWT and set up the shiny pokemon that
you don't want.
I've actually changed my mind now. I agree with everyone. Can
someone please move this to rejected? It seemed like a good idea at
the time, but now I don't think it it.
Wait, am I missing something? You say people are complaining that
they are getting terrible shinies back, but we haven't even had a
round of SWTs sent yet...
