you can always come up with a payment plan if a dragon is currently too high for you to buy. Most people don't mind holding a dragon untill you have enough.
(I've bought plenty of dragons for 800 gems+ this way)

i usually sell dragons between the 20-25K
i haven't set a price for this one yet though

I have 33k to offer for now, but I can easily get about 20k more from the fairgrounds if this offer isn't enough for you. It would take about an hour, maybe a bit more.
