That would be completely non-sense, wouldn't it? Because the stock exists to make it harder to buy items from the item shop. Restocking based on the low stock makes the stock simply needless.

The itemshop changes its offer every day - with full stock. Why would we need to restock it every second day?

Good point Riako...I knew it was kinda dumb. I think the shop stock should just be removed altogether...

In my opinion it shouldn't be removed, but extended the more users join.
The stock system gives the game a more realistic factor.

I understand the reason for the shop being restocked once in a while for it's realistic factor, but to be even MORE realistic, popular items should be restocked a lot more. (especially when everstones disappear so fast and berries became popular)

I like the idea of restocking twice a day (when needed). Or maybe rotate items twice a day. Nothing that will make it too easy but add a little variety.
