(So much stuff happens when I'm not online. That feel..)
Midori stepped out of her house and sighed. Her hair was unusually
messy, since she didn't bother to brush it and headed away from the
house. "I need to train... a lot." She mumbled to herself and
walked on, relieved her leg was fine and unhurt as if nothing ever
happened.
She was close to the door when she saw a small white haired girl.
The girl looked frightened and ashamed. "You could've been is so
much trouble.." Aki said through the hands that face-palmed her
face. "What do you mean could've?" She asked, confused. "They died
in a car crash, remember?" She mumbles.
--Flashback-- The two girls watched their parents drive away and got on their
bikes. They went to the park that was right by the sea. "Hey look,
it's mommy and daddy's car!" The white headed 9 year old girl
squealed. Suddenly, a truck was swerving around and hit the car.
"Mom! Dad!" The blue haired girl screamed, possibly 14 at the time,
running towards the car that was now in flames.
--End of flashback--
"Oh..." Ririi mumbles. "I wanted to live by myself okay? I couldn't
stand to live in the place where..." Her words trailed off as the
two just looked at eachother. "I'm sorry.." She said and ran off.
"Ririi wait!" Aki said, grabbing her arm.
"Don't worry 'bout it." Aki smiled. Every time she said that to
someone, they smiled and felt better. "Stop that...!" She giggled,
trying not to smile but failed. "II know you more than I know
myself." She said as the two walk towards the music store. After
getting Aki's violin, the two walked home.
Midori walked back to her usual cafe, having not eaten breakfast.
She kept her hands in her pocket, squeezing the soul gem almost in
hope that it would shatter. As she went on, she felt unsure of her
decision, but remembered Kachina's words. I'll get used to it..
hopefully. She stepped in and sat down at a lone table away
from the others to eat, rolling the gem in her hand nervously.
Midori finished up and walked out in boredom, wondering if she
should try out another witch.. if anyone else would want to do it.
She wandered around the city searching for anyone familiar to fight
with and started to get restless.
(someone do something...pls)
(I don't remember much, been getting hyper lately.)
Aki saw Midori walk by her. "She wants to fight another witch."
Kyubey said, reading the girl's mind. "Who's she?" The whitette
asked. "That's Midori, a new magical girl like you." She replies.
"Hey Midori, want to find another witch?" She asked, lowering her
voice as the two went towards the girl. "I'm Ririi, Aki's younger
sister. I've been away for a while so I wasen't with her as much."
Ririi made a white lie.
Midori looked up and studied the girl's face. She knows my
name...? She then spotted Kyubey there as well. Kyubey. Of
course. "Uh, sure. You know where there might be one?"
"I heard from Kyubey that they like to be over there." Ririi said,
pointing to a large building that seemed abandoned. "Well that
saved us the trouble of wandering for hours." Aki mumbles. "You
should go before it get's out of hand, I can sense two witches
there." Kyubey said, now sitting on Ririi's shoulder. "Okay!" The
young girl chimed.
"Kay then..." She said and headed for the building. The door was
blocked and she didn't want to deal with it, so she transformed and
slashed the door apart with the sharp edge of her bow. She looked
in, and right away could see a void. "Well that was easy."
Jubey followed Midori to the building. He looked at the void,
"It'll be pretty difficult you know." He looked up at Midori,
"Don't underestimate it is my warning."
The two walks in and waited for Midori to follow. "I wonder what
will it look like?" Ririi said, admiring the world of distortion.
"They could look like anything, but most are human-like." Kyubey
replies.
"I know." Midori sighed and gripped her weapon. "After yesterday, I
think I'm starting to understand the whole.. difficulty of this,"
She looked down at Jubey. "at least I got experience, right?"
Jubey seemed to nod a bit as he looked up. "Besides, they're
dangerous enough to try and at least kill ordinary humans. Just one
Witch's Kiss could cause death."
