"86-87-88-89-90!" After Isaac was exhausted doing push-ups, he then lays on the ground. Isaac stands up and rubs the cloth from the dirt.

"Pardon me, Cassius," said Isaac.

"It's fine. I know you're just teasing," said Cassius, smiled.

"So, if you tell them 'lovebirds' one more time when I'm around, you will do a thousand push-ups. Got that?," said Com. Madison.

"Y-Yes, sir," said Isaac, going to the tent, tired from push-ups. Kyle and Paul stops from peeking.

"See, I told you. You shouldn't said another word," said Paul.

"Now what you ended up? 90 push-ups," Kyle laughed.

Meanwhile, at the middle of the camp.

"My dad is very overprotected to me, when it comes to love," eavesdropped Cassius to Evangelina.

"He is? Why? Are...are you betrothed?" Evangelina was shocked to find herself praying that he wasn't. She knew many parents still arranged marriages for their only children. She knew he was a Confederate and she a Union...But as much as her head told her heart to stop being stupid, that it would never work...She, well, she had fallen head over heels for him. He was sweet, kind, and handsome.

"Are you kidding me?" Cassius was shocked when he heard Evangelina's question.

"No!" Cassius shake his head.

"I never had a girlfriend before, not even once. Maybe there are lots of girls in Baton Rouge waving me, but none of them had a relationship on me. My dad is very strict, because he want me to focus on my duty as a soldier, not to be in a relationship. Besides, I'm not ready yet," eavesdropped Cassius.

"Why are you questioning such questions like that?" said Cassius, feeling curious.

"Oh! Um...just curious," Evangelina ducked her head to hide her blush. She thought it was cute that he thought the girls were just waving at him. He had probably had a long line of girls just waiting for him to notice him.

"So...what now? We just wait for LT. Gen. Erickson to decide what to do with us?" she sighed. She really didn't like that man. But she vowed not to do anything rash. For Cassius' sake

Nighttime, all soldiers are falling asleep, while Cassius looked at the constellations.

"Lina, look at the constellations up there. ... It's nice to see, right?" said Cassius, smiled at the sky.

"You like to look at the stars too?" she asked. "At parties, when ever I pointed them out, the boys and men looked at me like it was childish. Like they were above the simple grace and beauty of the stars. I started pointing the stars out to any would be suitors I had. I don't want to marry for position or power. I want to marry for love. Like my parents. So I figure if a suitor ever looks up and is awed by them, he is worth a second look at. So far, no one has ever thought they were pretty."

"I don't think watching at the constellations would be childish. There are many grownups who watched the stars, such as Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei and Nicolaus Copernicus. Besides, it's inspiring. I admire the most is the constellation of Cassiopeia and Virgo," said Cassius.

"I hate the parents to marry their children, just because of attention, power or position. I thought those parents love them. If they love you, they set you free, not to be stay at the pigpen and treat them like a pig. What kind of parents is that?"

"Lina?" Cassius turned to Evangelina.

"I think one day, the perfect person for you will sat beside you, and watched the constellations or a meteor shower together in the sky. That maybe the sweetest experience you ever had," Cassius began to smile and looked up at the constellations.

Evangelina's heart pounded. He...he was watching the stars with her...he-he couldn't possibly mean what she hoped he meant. She didn't trust herself to speak. If she opened her mouth, she feared she would say something that made her look silly, upset him, or be simply wrong. She watched him look at the stars for a minute before she looked back up again.

"Oh!" she gasped. She pointed as best she could up at the sky, "Look! I shooting star!"

I wish Lina will break free in this situation and find the most perfect partner for her.

Then, he opened them.

"I wish that you will break free from this situation and find your perfect man for you," said Cassius. "How about you, Lina? What do you wish?" Then, he smiled.

She turned bright red again. But gave him a smile as she said, "I wished for almost the same thing. I wished he turned out to be standing right next to me."

She hoped he didn't think her too foreword and wished she could take the words back as soon as she said it! She looked at him worriedly.

The next morning~

Cassius woke up in a post.

"What? Where am I?" said Cassius, looking at himself tied up. "Oh, right!"

"Lina, wake up," said Cassius, tried to wake Evangelina up.

"Oh look, those lovebirds are so sweet," grinned the unnamed Confederate soldier while watching them.

Suddenly, Com. Madison heard the word 'lovebirds' and yelled, "Did you say 'lovebirds' at those two?"

"N-No, sir. I was just--" fearfully said the unnamed Confederate soldier.

"Oh, so you tried to lie to me, huh? 125 push-ups," yelled Com. Madison.

"Of course, sir," Then the unnamed Confederate soldier do a push-up of 125 push-ups.

Isaac chuckled while watching the soldier does push-ups.

"Good morning, Lina," Cassius said, but he turned around and he started to sneeze. "ACHOO!" Cassius sniffed and he turned to Evangelina. "That heavy rain yesterday, makes me feel sneezy." Then, he turned around, "Achoo!"

"34-35-36-37..." said the unnamed Confederate soldier while doing push-ups.

"Faster!" yelled Com. Madison.

Isaac just watched the unnamed Confederate soldier doing push-ups.

"Bless you. I'd offer you a hanky if I had one, but I don't," Evangelina told him. "I'm sorry."

She watched the man doing push ups. On one hand, she felt sorry for him. It couldn't have been fun. Then on the other hand, he had destroyed her fathers unit! She turned he back on him but still felt guilty.

"He...all of them attacked the fort! They...killed...my d-d-dad and his men," she said, her lip trembling. She wiped angrily at her eyes. "I s-s-should hate them! All of them! But seeing him hurt doing so many pushups? I feel bad! Like I should step in and help him! I hate this!"

She finished talking, but she still cried and shook. The shock of seeing the fort be destroyed was wearing off. She had no choice but to process what had happened.
