He nodded and rode off. When Cassius opened the letter, it read:

To my dearest star-gazer,

I dare not write your name down for fear it will cause you trouble. But I had to write to you. I miss you terribly. I want to tell you that you are in my thoughts and that I love you. Ever since you left, I look up at the stars and hope that you see them too where you are at.

Cassius cries upon reading Evangelina's message. He went inside to his room and his mom caught him cried. She was supposed to come at him to comfort.

"What happened?"

He ignored his mom and went to his room, crying, while holding the letter.
