Cassius sighed.

"I REALLY... like you. I have feelings for you," said Cassius and looks at Evangelina.

"If you can't accept it. I understand that.." Cassius turned away and blushed.

Evangelina looked at Cassius for a moment. Then she pinched herself. "No, I'm not dreaming! Cassius! Really? Because, I like you too!"

She hugged him then, undeterred by the fact he was turned away.

"Really? You like me, too? I thought you..." Cassius stopped his sentence and hugs her back.

"This is my happiest day in my entire life."

As Evangelina rested on his shoulder, Cassius watched the meteor showers together in the skies above, along with the stars and the moon.

Cassius puts his hand on her shoulder, as they both watched at the meteor shower.

Cassius watched the stars. He yawned. When Cassius saw Evangelina slept at his shoulder. Then, Cassius rest on Evangelina's head and sleep.

The next day~

Cassius wakes up, after his best day of his life with Evangelina. Evangelina still rests his shoulder and he stays put, until Evangelina wakes up. Cassius smiled.

"Good morning, Cassius. Morning, Eva," Gen. Lovelace greeted them. "I saw you both sleeping earlier, but I didn't want to wake you. You both looked so peaceful."

He looked them both over, knowingly, "So, have you two figured it out?"

"What?" Evangelina asked, surprised.

"I knew you both liked each other yesterday. I was waiting for you to figure it out," He chuckled, smiling at them.

"Oh!" Evangelina blushed.

Cassius was anxious.

"I like your daughter so much, Sir, really. ... But, I'm too s-scared if I tell you this, Sir. Are you mad at me, Sir, that I like your d-daughter more than a million times more?" said Cassius.

Gen. Lovelace threw back his head and laughed. After a while, he wiped his eyes and said, "I'm sorry, it's just that you make Evangelina happy. It might only be a little while, but she is very happy. And you watched the stars. She is always telling me about how important that is."

Evangelina smiled at her dad, "I do! He's...Dad, I really like Cassius."

Gen. Lovelace smiled, "I know. The looks you give each other? They are the same one's your mother and I give each other."
