It wasn't until about the time Diamond & Pearl was coming out
though. My dad's girlfriend's son gave me his old Gameboy with it
in it and I loved it, I still have it and play it to this day.
:)
The first time I played, I used my Masterball on a Level 8 Ponyta
though...
Fire red.
I never had a gameboy or never could afford one, so I played it on
emulator. I still have it, but I'm extending it by adding rom
hacks, which are pretty enjoyable.
It was either Pokemon Snap or Pokemon Colosseum. I loved and am
still in love with the Nintendo 64! But I have played a majority if
not all of the ones released.
Reading all these posts makes me feel old. My first was pokemon
red, not fire red, just red. Those was the days before color and
backlighting. Before eggs and genders. The start of it all. You
yoing whipersnapers and your multiple gens. Back in my day we only
had 151 pokemon and we appreciated all of them. Including Missingo.
Lol.
Pokemon Red was the first game for me. I got it for my 8th birthday
along with a Gameboy Color. I remember how the graphics were but it
was still amazing as a kid. I use to play it on a SNES cart that
allowed you to play Gameboy games, so I could play it on the tv. I
believe Charmander was my first pokemon.
