Ended up getting Yellow as the first game, much to the dismay of my
little brother whom started off with Red, since the plan had been
to get Blue just so we had the option to trade all the pokemon
together. Though the 'special' edition was released that day and
just ended up having to have it instead.
My best friend at the time gave it to me (as a random gift, I
suppose it was because she had so many games and I did not have
any!). I got addicted very fast and I loved to play. It has been a
long time ago and I don't remember HOW far I had actually gotten,
but eventually the game resetted my progress by itself =( I started
over and not too long after that it resetted again. Then I gave up
and stopped playing.
I think I still have it laying around somewhere along with a
Pokémon Emerald version too c:
My first games were red and blue on a brand new gameboy color, got
them all for one birthday one year, i was i think around nine or
ten. haha i feel so old now
My first was pokémon red, from what I remember it came late here in
Belgium. Didn't understand a word tho. Only understood what switch
and save meant :B
My first game(s) as I got them both at the same time was FireRed
and LeafGreen. I was super stoked to have been able to snag them
both however, I think in the end I only ended up finishing
LeafGreen.
I know this may sound weird, but i got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue
Rescue Team for my first ever Pokemon game. Of course i started
with Mudkip. yes come with the memes
Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2 were the first games I
played. I received Pokemon Red, Yellow, and Silver at the same time
one Christmas, I played Yellow and Silver the most. I still have
that Silver game, but the internal battery is dead and won't hold a
save file.
Heartgold! I basically beat the game because I had a level 100
Ho-oh and (I think) a level 100 Suicine (I think it was suicine,
may be a different legend.)
