View Pokemon's Dex Number in Party
I think we should be able to view a Pokemon's dex number when were viewing our party.
Example:
Show hidden content

Why? It would be really useful for users with Dex Sorted boxes. I would want to put a Pokemon in it's correct box, and I always have to open a new tab and look for the Pokemon in my Pokedex to find out it's Dex number.
It would be a lot easier and quicker if we can already see the dex number when viewing our party. (Not the party on our userprofile.)

this would be incredibly handy for those that box their pokes by dex number, which i'm sure a lot of people do, since 'gotta catch em all' is taken quite literally here lol

Not sure if support or not. If you click the pokemon image it takes you to the page correct? On the pkm's page it says the Dex number so I just saying it's not hard to click the image.


So neutral for me.

i think you missed the point of the op...

it's not -hard- to click the pokemon, yeah, but why not have the convenience there? going by this logic, we don't need the ehp or gender or even the pokemon's picture on the party page either because those are on the pokemon's profile too - like i said, a lot of people box their pokes by dex, it's kind of an important number to know and it would be cool to have it there just as much as it's handy to have the gender and ehp there

there is literally no detriment to having this feature in place

If a person wants to see the dex number of a Pokemon, all they have to do, is either go to its summary or google it and look on the Bulbapedia page for that Pokemon.

AutumnStar: People need to know the EHP and EXP, but not everyone needs to see the number, it just isn't necessary. Riako already made it convenient enough by putting the number in the summary.

To be honest, that's pretty long, especially for someone who has a crappy PC :P
It would be better if we could see the number straight away before putting it in it's right box.

How is that long? Just click on the Pokemon and there you go. Then click back after you see the number.

There no point being against this suggestion when I'm just suggesting something to make things quicker and make people's life easier. :P

Lives easier? For what exactly? I don't see how knowing a Pokemon's dex number is going to benefit me and when it will benefit me, there's one convenient way of seeing it. I really have no reason to support this. You're not really giving good reasons for this suggestion.

Like I've stated in the main post (I think), I said this will be useful for those who dex their Pokemon, or will do in the future. But I respect your opinion.

I don't see why it would be bad to have this feature if it wont benefit you. It may benfit others.

I understand, but that's a very low amount of people. What I'm saying is, why should Riako go and spend time coding something in to make things easier (than it already is) for a really low minority of people?

There will be more users registered in the future, and I'm pretty sure lots of people will dex their Pokemon later on, as 'Catch em all' is taken seriously in this game. It's just a fun thing to do, and there will be more people who will start dexing their Pokemon. We've still only got 5900+ registered users.

What are the chances that all the people who'll want to do that have slow PCs and/or can't visit sites like Bulbapedia, or Serebii or go to their Pokemon's summary?

Not alot, but this is just a thing to have which will make things easy... It's not even such a big thing... It may not be useful for you, but it may be useful for those who do dex their Pokemon, and I don't see why this would be a bad thing to have, especially for people who don't dex their Pokes. It's no harm.

It's not a bad thing to have, but you have to remember that if this suggestion is to implemented, it's going to take time. I don't know about you, but I'd prefer stuff that can benefit a bit more people to be implemented first. This site is new, after all, and needs stuff that'll attract more people.
