why do you like steven universe? It was on my dashboard a lot and I love shows that are light hearted and tackle issues in a fun way. Plus there is brilliant fan art and what isn't to love?

Sadly I'm only 4 episodes (I think I might be five or six) into the first season but it's fantastic so far.

Lapis is one of the most hard gems that I already draw.

Notice the floor?, theres a yellow diamond on it... Jasper mentioned "yellow diamond" as a leader of some sort
Maybe the other diamonds on the floor are difrent Diamond gems, other gem leaders...
Maybe they are ALL seprate leaders and they have been fighting eachother for thousands of years, explaining why all the gems seem hostile to eachother and why the homeworld gems never had time to check earth for rose or her army..

uhhh I guess Lapis is a blue diamond
mainly because, real life lapis lazulis "die" (or "explode" underwater, dont know exactly word for this) soo...does lapis control her own killer?

also because she has an dark blue diamond in her outfit, and she controls water and made an water tower, really powerfull just like a leader should be...

she is just derp and coward and fearfull fusing with jasper dont wanting to die (or she just like malachite ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) (knowing that she can kill jasper fusing or not fused) and yeah. powerfull just like a leader needs to be

She would probably be called "blue diamond" and she doesn't seem like a leader,saying that she should just back down and not fight....if she was that leader she probably wouldent be treated badly by Jasper...., besides all homeworld gems are known to have that diamond on their outfit this includes Jasper and Paridot aswell

something like "it is not what it was anymore" or something

and we dont understand good the gem culture soo she could get fake nicknames to the earth or jasper dont know everything about her?

like, malachite trapping herself was not expected, even if jasper know that she would do something against jasper.

If you were stuck in a miror for 1000yrs then of COURSE things would change, people would probably forget about you and technology would totally advance....makeing the world hard to reconise

Also note that ALL THEASE figures have the gem on their CHEST not their backs

I JUST NOTICED A THING

what if the gray gemstone who they get in the same episode is white diamond regenerating?

oh no the gems have a monster inside a bubble ;-;

or they just get the gemstone because gem bubbles make gemstones cant heal?

as showed in "Monster Buddies", centipeedle regenerated right after her bubble is destroyed.

....i doupt they caught a leader but...you do have a good point, Jasper DID want to find and kill rose and they were known as powerfull
But why would a super important leader come to earth to stop some rebels....

Well all gems are genderless and I kinda find that wrong the whole
"Men have more power than women" thing
He/she is probably a super strong gem whom doesnt fight, but uses her high status to inflict fear into gems
Kinda like how lapis was really scared^^

why do you like steven universe? It's an amazing show and it's not just a children's show like other people say , it touches your emotions and overall it's hilarious and the fandom is great.
