Also, Peridot is an kid gem? she is small,
favorite SU chariter:it was Lion until the Stronger Than You episode happened, now it's Garnet.
why do you like steven universe?: I was excited about this show before it had even aired. I'm all about supporting rebecca sugar and her awesomeness. I knew she would make a fantastic cartoon with unique character designs, good songs, and lots of feels. I really need to draw more fanart of this show. :T
yeah i was laughing at amethyst's replys, that was a great little part of why I enjoyed in catch and release.
Honestly that was one of my favorite Steven Universe episodes because it had some cuteness and some dark plot. i really love dark parts in cartoons and i also love the cuteness, i mean who DOESNT love some cuteness in cartoons? <3
I drew pearl last night and made it into a speed paint, I'm just gonna set this here for you guys if your interested x
even if Peridot is "cute"
don't forget that she made this.

Remember this thing?

That thing is called "Geode". Geodes generally have a /cluster/ of crystals inside. When the Geode started to break, or perhaps "hatch", as Peridot referred to it, it caused a thunder storm. With the upcoming episode centered around her being afraid of thunder, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Earlier on in the series, Steven fixed it, which may have confused the homeworld gems watching earth, so they sent a scout, such as Peridot, to check on it. During the episode you first see the Geode, Steven tries to heal the Geode like he did with Lapis, implying the geode may be alive. I'm thinking that the geode is a bunch of force-fused gems that homeworld grew and sent to earth.
