So we all know that some Pokemon evolve, and some don't?
I thought when they evolve, instead of a new sprite, there is a animation.
Maybe you could get a notification saying, "Jack (Litwick) is evolving!".
Then you click a link that says evolve which takes you to the animation.
Then there could be a link under the animation saying, "STOP!".

Like the idea?

No support.
Pokemon evolve automatically when they reach the specific level. (Only if the Pokemon isn't holding an Everstone). We don't need to get notifications when we can just easily visit our user profile and check on our Pokemon/Eggs.
Besides, the animation thing may slow down the game.

plus i've never liked the time pokemon evolutions animations take up anyways :p

It's a nice idea, but I guess it would take to much time spriting a smooth animation for every (evolvable) Pokemon, and you don't experience the evolution in live. Pokemon may/will evolve a lot while you are offline or afk, so you would only see a small part of all evolutions happening on your account.

Again, nice idea, but no support.

I like the idea but I know that PF had it and whenever one of my pokemon wanted to evolve it worked really slowly and it took forever for it to evolve. So no support from me either ~ I like it just the way it is right now.
