Worst injury you ever had?
Forum-Index → General Discussion → Worst injury you ever had?I'm a vet/animal therapist, so needless to say I've had plenty of accidents.
As for the worst, it has to be a tie between two times;
Trying to ride a horse that's never been ridden. It went well for a while until a noise startled it and it bucked me off. Not only did I land on concrete, the 1,600 pound guy apparently thought I was a threat and proceeded to repeatedly trample me. Broke a few ribs, a leg, and my nose. My arm was also so bruised up it was near impossible to move. Buuuut, good news is he's completely tame and now lives happily on a farm~
The other one was when I was fostering a Pit Bull. Great dogs, but once they bit they never let go. While introducing him to a new dog, they didn't get along and got into a fight. While trying to separate them, the pit turned and took a hold of my arm. I'm a small person, so easily it made it to my bone - didn't break it, but it bruised pretty bad. The other dog eventually got him off but not before he shredded my arm up. Luckily it remained intact but it's pretty scarred up. Also luckily, I was able to convince them to not put him down. He's a sweet pup now. uvu
Title: My worst injury.
I am pre-warning you to skip past this unless you have a strong stomach.
Or take note...
I gave birth to my oldest daughter in 2008.
Sound sweet yeah?
I'm not going to go into the whole 'Birth was the greatest thing ever!' speech, but what i am going to tell you will make every woman in here cringe!
My daughter was breech... She was feet first instead of head. That's an instant complication.
Now i had no fear about the giving birth part, but the moment my perineum split was the most PAINFUL thing in my life!
fourth degree tearing and over 100 stitches!
It literally feels like your entire body just ripped in half. I could feel the pain right in to my armpits!
8 years later and i still feel it.
I have broken bones, dislocated a shoulder and a hip, given birth another 2 times after that and i still remember exactly how that pain feels.
:,(
I wouldn't wake up & I had to have my head cut open so they could drain the blood .3.
I still have a scar from it on the right side of my head, it goes from the bottom of right here up and around the back of my head forward in like - a semicircle and it ends like by the side of my eyebrows thing.
so my brother and i were playing in the rain, so my brother, who was a big butt that time, had pushed me into a flowerpot, where i had gotten a gash and some wound in my front knee (i don't know how it got there) and almost impaled my hand with a piece of ceramic.
I hope no one ever reads this...
To this day I still have a very large, sensitive scar and this accident was about 5 years ago.
I still have the scar and I'm in college now. It's on my right leg.
Another time during the same period of my life I was riding my tiny fourwheeler around a dirt track we had in our back yard and ended up bouncing off of a barbed-wire fence. I was upset because my grandma said I couldn't ride anymore after that. I still have those scars too. Just on my right arm.
My worst injury was just when I tried to open a gallon of milk and used a knife for the top cap. It usually has always worked for 6 years, then I accidentally stabbed my right hand's finger. It was bleeding, and I felt that I was about to faint. What was even worse was that there was no band-aids so I got a makeshift one made of cotton balls, looked pretty cool though. It now looks almost exactly like the part that separates the different parts of the finger, but it's a little more pale and downward. Now, I learned to use forks. Not knives XD.
People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.
The one that lasted the longest? I'm still dealing with it. I popped my ribs out of place in April, didn't see a doctor till late October. It moved my triceps + biceps out of place, causing really bad pain. I go to physical therapy but that doesn't always help. It sucks cause I'm a competitive swimmer and shoulder injuries aren't good for swimmers.
The bloodiest injury I had was summer before 4th grade. We were camping and I was riding my scooter down a hill, it was maybe 40ft long, and had a really sharp incline/decline. My brakes stopped working, and I flipped down the hill. Cut a lot of my leg from my knee to my ankle, it was a bloody mess. And I sprained my toe.
