You could just report him, but then you might get banned for reporting cause they might think you did it for no reason. Whats his username? I'll have a talk with him.

I just sent him a PM telling him to either change it, or make the flashing slower.

I honestly think they look cool as well.

And, you shouldn't report him, he did nothing wrong. And his avatar is not breaking the rules. I understand where you're going with this though, if you stare at it you'll get a headache, but 1 second looking at it won't hurt you.

I honest think you all should forget about this and go about your lives (real & pokeheros). So... yeah.

Flashing avatars at that speed are an actual health hazard. I actually posted in the maker's "rainbow sprites" thread before seeing this because those particular avatars are bad for users.

Report the user if they have an avatar that's too fast on the animation to let a mod deal with it, or just send a pm to the one using the avatar over the fact that it's likely pain inducing.

I don't think that flashing avatars should be banned, though, since if they are done at the right speeds and the maker isn't stupid about it, they can turn out really awesome. (By stupid about it, I mean intentionally making it bad, or intentionally making it blindingly fast. Some people actually do this...)

The issue with the avatar in the example is the fact that the user put the colors on the normal sprite's usual animation times, changing every single frame, while the actual sprite is fine with those fast frames because the movement between frame to frame is so minor that it doesn't look that fast to the perceptual eye.

edit, so people can see why it's an issue:
Do NOT open the spoiler if fast moving bright colored images will induce seizures!

It is going pretty fast, Senpai. It hurts some people's eyes to see something shifting bright colors that fast.

It's cool but it needs to change colors more slowly.

Flashing avatars, as small as it seems, can easily give epileptic people seizures. Having two siblings that have passed because of epilepsy, I know how this works. Even a light bulb that was barely flashing has given my brother a seizure. Full support for this.

I agree with this. I don't think possibly putting one's health at risk is worth looking "cool."

Personally, I kind of support this. There could be a "Pause Flashing Avatars/ Images Button" on misc. settings. This way, some people can see them flash, and others don't get harmed.

@Xstarhero What? You're suggesting that a friendship should be broken because someone likes "ckool" avatars?

Anyways, I support this. Personally, my eyes doesn't hurts, but it is very dangerous.

support, i have epilepsy and rapidly flashing avatars could put me at risk for a seizure, as well as be a potential health hazard for other people

Through the woods a girl came sadly.
Something broken in her chest.
She had dared to love another.
Alas, no better than the rest.
Up my path the girl came gladly.
Something opened up my doors.
I longed to stop her bleeding heart.
And so I called her to my shores.
Those you trust will hurt you badly.
Something now I'm sure you see.
So drown your tears in me my dear.
As you drown, my dear, in me.

Quote from RulesPokéHeroes should be a friendly community-based browsergame for every age.

This, and the fact that PokéHeroes should be safe for everyone, this idea could help epileptics.
