So I just had to delete my entire friend list and add everybody again afterwards. Why? Because I needed to find a single notification (about my one year anniversary on PH) in this huge sea of notifications. That's simply impossible with so many feeds, even though that anniversary notification was only 11 days old. That's why I suggest there's a little icon that you can enable/disable (like under Misc. Settings) that hides/shows feeds from your friends. Basically makes it much easier to find a certain feed.

You can filter notifications on the right side. The anniversary notification is either "Other" or "Gifts". Select these filters and click a couple of times on "Load more". Ét voila, much easier to find a specific notification.
