For those of you who played the Gen 4 games, you should remember the Egg Trading system in the Union Room. I'm suggesting something similar for PH.

The idea is that users can get together in groups of 2 to 4 people and trade eggs. For groups above 2, you don't know who's egg you'd get. A user is also chosen at random to win a small prize, such as a berry or evolution stone.

The main reason I'm suggesting this is so that users can help others in Event hunts, similar to me and Professor_Joe. The two of us do not have Premiums, so we can't get the Event Passes to speed up our hunts. With this feature as well, users can give each other fun mystery gifts of eggs.

I really enjoyed the feature in the games, and I'd love to see something similar here.

I also would see it useful if people have extra eggs or lab eggs(if they remember which one they are) to give to their friends to help their hunts as well to save room or get what they want

I support this Idea, but ~Reshaymin~'s right. Tricking some one and stealing their egg is possible. There should be something to prevent this, but I support this Idea! :)

I kinda can see it with non event eggs because it has the normal egg design. there are also people who would trade the eggs for random eggs anyways as well

From what it seems, you would choose your group. That makes it easier to tell. With two people, you know who to look at, with four you are still friends.

I support this! But i think the way to prevent 'scam' is that the user can check the egg they get and see if they want to accept it or not, Max 5 cancel. They only can check the Rarity,Not the species inside it ^-^ But hey! I don't think scam would happen

I think it should only be in your Egg/Pokedex, and from the daycare. it seems OP to me.

I support this.

I don't think there would be any scam involved though because the suggestion is random egg trading. Which means that if you have more than 2 players trading then none of them know which type or kind of egg they get. Each player chooses an egg and trades it off (It's the same as the wonder trading feature accept with eggs not pokemon). Obviously if there is only 2 players you know which eggs you get (but that is an agreement between those 2 players). And i don't think checking rarity of the egg and choosing to accept or decline the egg should be implemented, otherwise it wouldn't be random.


@Diana: that link to the thread you had posted, their suggestion is completely different from this one. They are basically suggesting to trade eggs like we trade pokemon on the gts, not a random trade.

No, it's the same thing. And a new thread doesn't have to be made for the same idea. Alternate methods to a certain suggestion should be added to an existing thread on the suggestion, not made into a whole new thread. Anyways, there are other threads for this suggestion, stating both random and non-random egg trading. That was just one example.

How exactly are the two different? Oh, right, this one adds on that it's random only if there are more than two users involved. That's not a different suggestion, but an addition to the already suggested idea, in all honesty.

Support this, but i think there would be 2 things:
1)You trade your eggs, and you can see the other guy eggs, and accet them if you want.
2)A egg wonder trade, you put a egg, and you can receive a random egg :P
