Fernshade let out a hiss, as she dashed over to her friend's side,
and her forepaws slamming vigorously into the tabby she-cat's jaw,
her claws raking viciously down the she-cat's lumbar. The she-cat
let forced out a yowl into Fernshade's ear, making her teeth grit
as she let out an open shot. Fernshade bowled towards the she-cat,
her claws slamming into the tabby's leg as she let out a desperate
shriek and fell to the ground.
Nightshade gave a purr of thanks to her friend, she heard pawsteps
behind her. She swung round and sunk her claws into the cat, then
quickly dashed towards another.
Blood tripped out of Fernshade's mouth. She lunged towards an
attacking tom, her claws raking vigorously against his eyes. Her
teeth clamped over his paw, and she yanked it out of place.
Suddenly, Clearstar came and fought alongside Nightshade, but there
was too many. They all leaped towards and a big yowl echoed through
the whole camp. Foreststar called out "RETREAT!" And forestclan
were gone. Nightshade yowled and said the most important thing
ever. " Clearstar is dead!" Cats gave yowls of pain and sorrow as
they gathered around Nightshade and the fallen leader of Dawnclan.
Acornfur made his way up to Fernshade's side and lowered his head
in a respect. They turned to the deputy, Brindlefur, and began to
chant for their new leader. Fernshade joined in. "Brindlestar,
Brindlestar, Brindlestar!"
A small kit came up to Brindlefur "Brindlefur" She said will a sky
tone. "Yes, young kit?" She replied. "Who is going to be your new
deputy?" She mewed.
((Okay))
Nightshade padded into her den with dissapointment and sorrow. "If
it wasn't for you, the leader wouldn't have been dead!" Darkpelt
snorted. Nightshade felt guilty about the death of her kind leader,
but, she also thought that Fernshade would have been the new
deputy.
Fernshade's whiskers twitched as she padded up behind Darkpelt.
"Nightshade had nothing to do with Clearstar's death." She hissed,
her blood-stained claws ripping fiercely at the ground. "You'll
have to answer with me if you still have doubts," She snapped,
glaring as she padded into the warriors' den.
Nightshade nodded. She walked into the clearing to see acornfur. He
was bloodstained, lying on the ground, with Treepelt sitting by him
with a face full of sorrow. Nightshade ran into the Warriors den
and shouted "FERNSHADE ITS ACORNFUR COME QUICK!" And ran out into
the clearing.
Treepelt met her gaze. "I don't know..." He admitted. Acornfur'a
limp body started to attract the whole clans as some cats walked
into the clearing to see what the fuss was about.
Fernshade dipped his head. "I think it may have been a dep or a
leader, I don't know, I fought alongside him, but he bit him on the
neck, it may have hit the bone."
