Fernshade gave a sigh of relief. "Then it couldn't be that bad. If it may have only hit the bone, it wouldn't cut his air vein."

Fernshade pressed her paw against Acornfur's chest. "His heart is still beating at a normal rate." She said with relief.

Fernshade's insides churned, and she let out all her worry and emotion at a time of now. She sniffled and dug her muzzle into Acornfur's bloodied pelt. "Thank StarClan..." She croaked.

"It's not like they'll delay the Gathering. Whatever happens before that must be dealt with." Fernshade meowed, and picked up the rim of Acornfur's muddied scruff. "Besides, I suppose that the higher ranks will send some patrols to take a look. Treefoot, do you have any information on who attacked?" Fernshade asked, her tail lashing violently as if she were going to storm out of camp and take revenge the moment she heard so. But her claws were sheathed, and she was carrying Acornfur, so that was a sign that she wasn't.

Nightshade and Treepelt looked at each other. "She sure is something." He meowed.

"I just care about those whom I love. When I find those cats, they'll pay. Although, StarClan says not to kill unless absolutely necessary, thus I shall hurt those cats really, really badly." Fernshade mewed through a mouthful of fur. She gently picked Acornfur off the ground, carrying him into the Medicine Den with care. She softly craned him into a moss nest, giving an urgent glance to the Medicine Cat--Who, thankfully understood--and trudged back out, facing Treepelt. "You still haven't answered my question," She urged.

Treepelt snorted. "Okay first, my name is Treepelt and second, I saw Acornpelt. It's the deputy of forestclan." He sneered.

Her left torn ear twitched, as she gave an idle glare at sarcasm, but got over it within a blink's moment. "ForestClan. Always so ruthless," Fernshade chided under her breath, and glanced up at the starry pelt of night. "I'm heading off to sleep... So much drama for one night," SHe meowed and headed into the warriors' den.

Whitepelt, A queen who was quite young announced that her kits were ready to be trained. Cat gathered beneath the high rock to see who their mentors were.

Fernshade stirred into her nest a while before she managed to get up, but came dashing to the High Stones like a bullet on fresh charge.
She'd always loved these meetings, and it was rather important not to let the cats of DawnClan--especially the younger ones--feel ignored. A purr rumbled in her throat as the two kits--one a golden-brown tabby with white stripes, the other a very confident-looking tortoiseshell--of Whitepelt stumbled up to the High Stones, having to crane their heads up to see the young leader on top of the smooth, glimmering stone, which was rather tall. Fernshade caught a glimpse of Whitepelt, who was swelling with pride.
"Faithful cats of DawnClan, we all gather peacefully here today for a meeting." Meowed the broad-shouldered leader, Brindlestar. That quieted all the cats quickly. "It is great to see our brave cats in such a health, and this time we gather again as our clan grows. Today, two kits, Honeykit and Dapplekit, have reached the age of six moons and are ready to be apprenticed."
The cats of DawnClan glanced at the bouncing kits.
"Dapplekit, step forward if you please." Mewed Brindlestar.
The tortoiseshell took many steps forward until she was close, a flurry of white at her paws.

(Can you make Dapplekit Fernshade's apprentice? I g2g)

Honeypaw had gotten Nightshade as an apprentice, and to Fernshade's surprise Dapplepaw was now under her training. Honeypaw was rather excited, obedient, and hard-working there as Dapplepaw was feeble, graceful, and a day-dreamer. Fernshade approached the young tortoiseshell as pressed noses with her, a tradition of the Apprentice Ceremony, as the newly-apprenticed she-cat was swelling with glee. Dapplepaw looked at her expectantly--but politely--as Fernshade nodded, and spoke to her in a soft, gentle mew.
"Dapplepaw, it's rather late in the night. Even if you are bursting with excitement, you'd best get some rest and the first thing when you wake up we'll go check the territories." Dapplepaw nodded, and began to head for the Nursery. "Oh, and your an apprentice now. You've got a nest in the Apprentices' Den," Fernshade chuckled, as the tortoiseshell gave a giggle about her mistake, turning back before she went to the Apprentices' Den. "G'night, Fernshade," She meowed and went to her sleepy-moss nest.

Nightshade padded towards HoneyPaw and pressed noses with her. "I am honoured to have such a lovely apprentice like you." She said wisely. HoneyPaw smiled with happiness and stared up at her mentor. "Congratulations on becoming an apprentice, do you know where the apprentices den is?" She asked. HoneyPaw looked at her curiously. "I don't think so..." She replied, still dazed with thought. "Follow me." Nightshade said with a calm tone, as the showed he new apprentice the den. "You need some rest. You have your first day of training with your sister, me and Fernshade will show you around the forest. Goodnight." Nightshade gave a friendly lick to her forehead and padded over to Brindlestar and nodded in thanks. "I will train her well."

Above, a peachy-pink streak was water colored across the gentle, calm regular sky of the most soothe blue out in the forests, which merged precisely with a shade of lavender and a bit of edgy orange to give that kind of spark to the day.
The ginger-brown warrior with honey-blonde splotches and a white under-belly that streaked up to her muzzle rolled drowsily in her moss nest, her striking fire-like blue eyes slowly fluttering open, as she lolled onto her spine, and flipped back over. Her ears swiveled, and she arose to her paws with her fluffy wild tail lashing, her un-groomed fur puffing a bit more than usual.
She stretched herself out, and padded out of the warriors' den, just about to go off on her own wanders until she remembered--Dapplepaw was her apprentice now, which meant she wasn't just free to roam around in DawnClan territory; she had an apprentice to train.
She hauled herself to the Apprentices' Den, and it was rather easy to spot the thick-furred lump of tortoiseshell fur. Expecting the excited apprentice to be awake, she was a bit surprised she wasn't, and nudged the apprentice. "Dapplepaw," Fernshade meowed softly. The apprentice stirred, and got up wearily. "Wha..." She mumbled, still half-asleep. Honeypaw was already awake. "Training," Fernshade reminded her, and the tortoiseshell's golden eyes went ablaze with excitement. "Oh, yeah!" She mewed, and jetted out of her nest. "Nightshade and Honeypaw are coming with us to tour around the forest," Fernshade pointed out.

HoneyPaw sprang to her feet. "Yay!" Nightshade padded towards the den. "Morning" she said soothingly. "Ready to go?" She asked. HoneyPaw stared at her. "Yeah! This is going to be so-" Nightshade put up her paw and blocked her mouth. "Shh" she whispered. As she collapsed to the ground as she couldn't keep her balance. "We don't want to wake anyone up. HoneyPaw snickered and ran to the entrance. "Let's go!" Nightshade got to her feet and padded over to the entrance.

Nightshade and Fernshade were ahead of their apprentices--who stayed back due to their interest in the landscape--when they'd reached the first important landmark of DawnClan's many acres of land: The Spinning Tree. The Spinning Tree was the forest's largest tree, with roots larger than the largest warriors of all the clans, and the thickest stem that was a crisp golden-brown. The branches of the tree was a mind-spinning maze of twirls, twists, and spins that lead to a bundle of light seaweed green smooth leaves that drooped down, although there where so many that it spun the mind, where the infamous tree had received its name.
It was so large and tall that there were elders' tales that the Spinning Tree had forever been growing, and that it scraped the clouds if it wished. Honeypaw and Dapplepaw stared at it in awe, Dapplepaw's mouth gaped open in shock.
"The Spinning Tree. A good spot for hunting if you can climb," Fernshade added, glancing up proudly at the tree.

Nightshade looked at her. "Easy." She began to climb the tree. "See!?" Nightshade got to the top in a matter of minutes and dead birds fell from the top, only a few escaped, but we're still injured. Nightshade looked down at the cats proudly. "See!?" She jumped off the tree and sunk her claws into the trunk. "Do that if you fall from a tree."She advised. "There is the border of ForestClan, they attacked us yesterday."
