Some other students started walking in the school, one group
talking about how their class got to skip class to visit some girl
at the hospital.
(This is the same class that Shade and Violet are in)
Shutting the book eventually, Violet entered her house. "Hello,
mom," she called out with no response. She plopped onto her bed and
pulled out her laptop. 'Dragons' she googled, just out of
curiosity. It wasn't like she hadn't googled this hundreds of times
before.
Myst soared over the city, seeing a few other myths. I'm
surprised that more people don't see us, she thought, landing
near a lake.
Ebony grabbed an apple out of the fridge and trudged to her room.
She glanced at her agenda. Ah, over half of these papers are
either already late or due tomorrow. Great. she thought,
reluctantly pulling out the papers and a pencil.
Fox sat at the edge of her window, drawing the dreary rain. It was
already starting to get dark outside as this happened, leaving Fox
with an unfinished drawing. She put away her art supplies and
walked outside, turning into a crow. She flew over the houses,
listening for the sound of snoring. Every house seemed like the
inhabitants were asleep, except one, with a light on in a window on
the top floor. She was curios, so she flew in to get a closer look,
landing on the windowsill, spotting a young girl working on
something, maybe an essay? She adjusted herself so that she would
be invisible to all but true believers, then tapped on the window
with her beak
(Im gonna say that these were the events of the night before the
last couple of posts)
Ebony glanced up from the math paper at the sound of the tapping.
She glanced outside. It's already dark out, and raining. Wait,
what's a crow doing out that? she thought. She moved closer to
the window and looked at the bird. Odd.
Eventually getting bored, Violet glanced outside. Might as well
sleep, she decided with a yawn, shifting under the covers and
shutting her eyes.
Myst glanced at the clouds covering the sky. Rain. She flew
into an abandoned cave nearby, and made herself comfortable, soon
falling asleep.
Fox tilted her head, though not so much as for her tarnekappe to
fall off, watching the child look at her strangely. She tapped the
window, making sure not to jostle her hat off. She didn't want to
be caught in the rain again.
Ell read her book peacefully, drifting off to sleep in her hospital
bed
Ell dreamt of an elf and a human, dancing in the forest. They ran
through the woods happily, but suddenly, the human fell,
disappearing. The elf cried and cried, until several armed men
came. The men attacked the elf, and the elf fought them off,
killing most of them, until the last one stabbed the elf, and the
elf disappeared. When the elf vanished, a small bundle appeared on
the ground, and the man picked it up, and suddenly, he wasn't in
the forest anymore. The man handed the bundle to a woman, and
suddenly, the entire dream dissipated, as Ell woke up, gasping for
breath. She relaxed once she realized that she was still in the
hospital, and lay down, looking out of the window at the stars.
