I fed my Snorly 25 rare candies when he was level 936. Now he is level 938 and I don't have any rare candies left.

I think it takes a bit of time. I think there was a bug about this a while back.

What happens is the rare candies max out the level (Or max it out +1 Exp)
Most of the time this pushes your pokémon to the next level, but sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, feeding any further rare candies is useless, as it won't level up at all until someone interacts with it.

I've lost a lot of rare candies due to this bug, so now when I feed a pokémon the candies, I keep it in my party and feed them in a different tab, so I can make sure the level thing isn't a factor. If it catches on a level, I just wait for one interaction, then feed another candy.

Not the best way to deal with it, but it's one way to handle it until the bug is fixed.

I don't believe it is possible to get the rare candies back since you already used them while the bug was present. Sorry about that :\

Be careful the next time you do this and use the information that Navuso gave you. I, myself don't use rare candies, so I'm not familiar with this bug.

//Moved to Solved, as part of the big Bug/Complaint clean-up.

The particular bug has been fixed. Feeding Rare Candies automatically pushes pokémon to the next level, without stalling at the changing point.

mewtheking, go to Item Bag under Home tab. And in the Battling section, you’ll see your Rare Candies, if you have. Click on the "use" button next to the Rare candies. A new page will load up and then select the pokemon on which you want to use your rare candies.
