Buster sent a quick, urgent look towards Luna. "Buster, I told you, I only know the basics of healing." She let out a sigh. "Besides, Swift is strong. Stop treating her like a pup that's choking to death." She added, her left ear flicking. Chester then bounded in with a deer and a faun. "Hey there! Guess whose back? Uncle Chester!!" The he-wolf squealed. Dragon chuckled as the pups invaded Chester's fur. Although Moon had stayed behind in the corner, giving a huff of disapproval at the pup's actions. Lately Moon had been more touchy about her privacy.

''chester, brother dear... you really need to stop acting like a pup'' hazel said.
chester flicked his left ear and dragged the faun over to swift.
''thank you chester..'' she mumbled, causing buster to jump because he thought she went back to sleep.
''no problem'' chester said and headed back to the deer to get his share of the hunt and went over to the cave entrance.
moon took some of the deer from the faun swift had and headed back the the corner she was hiding behind and started eating.
draco got a big piece and went over to eat next to moon, tail wagging.
''go eat somewhere else runt..'' she grumbled and went back to eating.
draco's tail drooped and his ear's pinned back, a bit confused but also pretty hurt being called runt.
he went back over to thorn and venom and flopped, starting to eat his piece of deer now along with thorn and venom.

Luna sent a chiding glare to Moon. "Draco's not a runt, Moon. He's the second youngest in this cave." She snapped. "Whatever." Moon grumbled. "If you want to act like that, go ahead and leave." Luna growled. Moon didn't reply.

the three older sibling's buster, chester, and hazel all cringed, along with draco and thorn because the five of them know how snippy swift get's when someone even mention's what luna said.
swift instantly stopped eating and just stared at the faun.
''what did you say to moon, luna.....?'' she asked.

"I told her that if she wants to act like that then she can go ahead and leave." She repeated, with a slight scowl. "We've already had Sapphire go ahead and betray us. Moon's acting worse than Sapphire was before she left." Luna grumbled.

swift stiffly looked over at luna, growling quietly.
''well i acted the same way when i was moon's age luna, and i was told the same thing, to leave and so i did.... but it was lonely being alone luna, that's why i've mostly joined pack after pack.. until now'' she said with a slight cough.

"Faith is faith. I had to kill Fae with my own claws." She growled, her eyes dark. Dragon stiffened. "Please don't speak about Fae." He whinnied, his muzzle rest on his paws. "It was kill or die when I was Moon's age." Luna growled, and padded out of the cave. Dragon watched as she walked out. But we eventually survived it, he thought.

moon pinned her ear's back and buried her muzzle under her paw's, whimpering quietly.
''moon it's alright...'' buster murmured softly.
swift sighed and curled up, suddenly losing her appetite.

Dragon sighed and shook his head. "She gets enraged when things come to her past. We've both had quite a story. Don't ever bring this up to her, okay? When she was born, her parents went through this freak accident and left her by herself. This pack came over her, and trained her to fight. Brutally. When we were about 14 moons, I joined the pack myself. This pack... the way they train is unbelievable. I couldn't handle it. I guess we both had a soft spot for each other," He shifted uneasily. "So she left with me. Since she was one of the best fighters of the pack, they hunted us down for... such a long time. Sleepless nights. We met this she-wolf, Fae, while in our travels." He sighed. Dragon seemed to relive the moments now.

"She was sweet but very nimble. She became a part of our group. The pack took this as an advantage. The alpha... He threatened to kill both me and Fae. Blue couldn't stop it. Fae pleaded with her... And Blue was forced to kill poor Fae and run off with me. Fae made her." He croaked. "We joined another mouse-brained pack, where love was forbidden. So we ran away once more. But me and Blue where separated. That led to her meeting you and going under a completely different title. She called herself Luna, because our old brutal Alpha was named Sol."

He paused, catching his breath. "She never did mention that she used to kill pups and eat them without mercy. That's the pack's nature. But she grew up with it, knowing that there was no reason to leave the pack and they'd kill her if she didn't kill. It soon became regular to her." He sighed.

draco and thorn blinked, ear's slowly pinning back.
now they were getting a little uneasy thank's to dragon saying that luna used to kill pup's.
''calm down you two...'' buster mumbled.
hazel had went out like a light after eating and chester was just dozing off.
swift's twitch, so she wasn't completely asleep.
moon looked over at dragon, ear's pinned back.
''well i was left alone because i ran away from rogue wolves killing my parent's.... i was just a pup and when swift and buster took me in as their own i felt happy.. i had a family again..... but now i'm being told to leave.....'' she mumbled, now really upset.
buster and swift cringed, hearing what moon said.
''wait.... your parent's were killed...?'' draco asked.
''mom and dad adopted you..........?'' thorn asked.
moon now cringed as well, realizing what she had said.

Luna grimly trotted back into the cave. "I used to kill pups. That was when I was a pup, and if I decided to kill any of you it'd already be done. Moon, I'm suggesting you leave if you want to act like that." She grumbled.

moon's ear twitched.
''i don't want to act like sapphire.... she did what she did out of anger and jealousy'' she said, keeping her tone of voice even.

Luna grunted. "Then you'd best stay." She replied, her tail bashing.

moon rolled her eye's and rested her muzzle onto her paw's, still not seeming in a very good mood.

Luna shrugged, sitting up. Her tail curled around her fore-paws, which blended in with a nice dark ebony. Dragon sat next to her, their sides pressed again each other. Her nose scrunched as the era of something familiar filled her nose... it was tangy yet delicate, and resembled marigolds. However, the scent was unfamiliar with the group and stood out in the grotto because of this. She turned to see two familiar wolves--Star and Sapphire. Venom, knowing what the cause of the previous battle was, ignored Star (since he didn't know her) and strode straight to Sapphire with a growl. "What are you here for?!" He demanded, fur sticking up.

"Shut it, runt." The traitor retorted. "Don't tell me that in my home." Venom raged, his claws slashing Sapphire's scar (which was on her cheek). She yipped, but Star quieted her in that motherly way she possessed. "Star, I don't mind you being here, but why'd you bring her?" Luna growled, glaring at Sapphire.
"The alpha sent us to get Venom, and said he'd bring peace for only Venom. Luna, he'll hurt Sapphire if we don't bring Venom back," Star whinnied. "I don't care as much about Sapphire. Star, haven't I made it clear enough? I killed Rose without mercy. Star, I don't want anything to do with your pack." Luna grumbled. "Please, Luna!" Star pleaded. "No. Leave." Luna growled at them. Venom got this message, and hid himself in Luna's tail.

swift looked over and perked her ear's up.
''sapphire...? oh look at how big you've grown..'' she muttered, the soft tone of her voice returning.
sapphire flattened her ear's, trying not to look upset that she ran away from them.
draco and thorn both were growling quietly, ear's pinned back and teeth bared.
moon wasn't even paying any attention, just simply dozed off.
buster was just glaring, unsure of what to do at the moment.

"I told you Venom isn't leaving us. Now go along," she ushered carelessly.

Sapphire immediately stepped out of Star's range and leaped up so she could face nose-to-nose with Luna. A glare was fixed in her eyes, determined yet daring. Her lip curled back so she showed off layers of white, round teeth. "Look here, Luna. You give us the pup and we leave you alone. You don't and I will pry him out of her grip by force." She bellowed. Dragon padded up to Luna's side, expecting her to get angry, but the ebony's reaction was quite different. Her eyes were flowing calmly like usual, but she looked at Sapphire real serious.
"Prove it." She said in a hushed voice.
Sapphire's nose crinkled in suspicion, and Luna felt Dragon tense up. "What are you doing?!" He hissed in her ear through gritted teeth. "Alright, fine. You asked for it." Sapphire grumbled.
"You just try to take Venom." Dragon grumbled. Luna grabbed Venom firmly by his scruff, and put him in front of Sapphire to receive a ''look'' from Dragon. She ignored him professionally.

Sapphire grabbed Venom swiftly by the scruff, causing the he-pup to yip in surprise. She turned around to pad out of the cave, but Luna's large ebony paw slammed onto Swift's pup's tail, causing her to jerk back and drop Venom. The ebony she-wolf placed a paw on Venom's chest and swiped him back towards her, making him sit down awkwardly by her paws. This normally would've made her laugh, but she was being serious. Not even brutal.
Sapphire growled, and lashed a paw towards Luna's chest. She blocked it with her tail. Sapphire made a grab for Venom, but Luna's paw swiped him to the side and he dodged Sapphire's teeth.
"What are you playing at?!" The traitor yowled.
An ebony paw slammed at the pack-wolf's tail, making her yowl in surprise and try to yank it free, only to cause more pain.
"Sapphire, Sapphire..." Luna sighed. "Did you really think you had a chance? Your only still a pup. Really, did you actually expect to win this? For me to so easily let you get your paws on these pups? Sapphire, we've beaten grown wolves from getting these pups. And you, as a pup yourself, think that you can do what they failed to do?" She chided, still very calmly (which was a bit creepy).

Star stood up, and took Sapphire by the scruff. Luna then let go of her tail. "If you still won't give up, Sapphire, come back when you're older. When you actually have a bit of a chance." The ebony snapped, her eyes flaring quickly. Sapphire didn't say anything, but shook out her fur and padded grimly out of the cave.
"And that's that. Venom, don't you ever think I'd carelessly hand you away like that." The ebony declared, flashing a look at her adopted pup. He nodded. Venom looked up to her real innocent, and his tail flicked. "Mama, why didn't you just end that mean she-pup right there?" He asked.
"Because she's misguided, Venom. It wouldn't be fair. Mercy is a fragile, slippery thing. You can easily lose grip on it, and if you do, it hangs on you for life." Luna replied simply, her nose nuzzling Venom's head affectionately. "Okay." The he-pup replied, and curled up in her tail.

(i am in such a bad mood that i will express it with swift -.-... just to let my anger out.......... plus my mom won't give me the flipping laptop.....!!!)

swift's hackle's were raised due to watching the fight, a death glare replacing the softness now.
''and luna know's better then to harm my pup...!'' she growled angrily, trying to keep from losing her temper.
''swift calm down'' buster said.
draco and thorn both decided to step back to where their uncle chester and aunt hazel were.
