"Next shot I get, i'll kill those mangy humans." Luna said out loud and glanced to the golden-brown she-wolf. "For both of us," She added in a tone like she'd just promised. Luna wrestled around in boredom, getting her darker-than-midnight fur even more stuck-out. The she-wolf still recklessly avoided propping on her stomach. "I'm bored," she moaned after a silent moment. "Swift. Wake up." She urged and prodded her friend with a single, large forepaw. "Wake up," she repeated and poked her again. This went on for several attempts until the she-wolf finally woke up.

''luna.. i want to sleep...'' she grumbled sleepily.
she never did open her eyes when she said this, she just kept her eyes closed.
but swifts ears instantly perked up when she heard whimpering.
''did you guys find-'' she started to ask but suddenly lost all voice now.
chester and dragon both were helping buster into the cave, all three of them covered in bite and claw marks.
''what happened!'' swift and hazel yelped at the same time.
once they were all inside dragon and chester moved away and fell to the ground tiredly along with buster falling to the ground right where he stood.
swift limped over to buster and laid down nudging his muzzle with her nose.
''oh buster... if i hadn't have told all three of you go find moon..'' she whimpered silently.
''those mangy humans sent their leashed pets after us... four against three..'' chester growled.

Luna didn't know how to react when she saw the limp mate of her golden-brown friend being hauled into the cave. Simply, she waved Dragon over as the large, muscular he-wolf edged leaned to hear what she needed to tell him. "Dragon... Violet... S-she's a you-know-what..." She whispered softly in his perked ears. "I'm getting Moon back," she raised her voice for them all to hear and nimbly rose to her paws. Without hesitation, she raced out of the damp dark cave and into the shadowy night, as she forced her paws to lead her south towards a cave drenched in a bear's scent.

''hazel, chester, both of you go after luna, she still needs to heal'' swift commanded and looked back at buster whimpering.
buster please wake up... i need to know your alright she thought sadly.
tears started to stream from her eyes.
both hazel and chester paused for a minute but swift looked up at them and pinned her ears pack.
''now!'' she snapped.
both of them yelped and ran out of the cave after her.

The ebony she-wolf's nose scrunched from the reeking scent of the bear. "Violet. Come out," she snapped after hearing the wails of a weak pup. "You've finally figured it out, precious Luna? Gravel always said you were a dim-wit." replied a cold, hard voice of a she-wolf. Violet strutted into the light, holding a dirty, thin young pup. "Moon, come here," Luna ordered as the young pup gave enough strength to slip out of Violet's hardy grip and press against Luna. "L-luna... I'm scared... She's really s-strong..." Moon shivered, but still grateful some one was here to save her. Luna lapped the top of the cold pup's forehead. "Shush, young one. I'm here to retrieve you. You'll be okay." Luna reassured. "Now go outside and wait, dear pup," Luna mumbled as the pup did her best to get away quickly.

"Now than, Pearl. I'm afraid you'll have to be ended in the stench of a bear," Luna replied calmly, finally looking up to the she-wolf who had simply watched. The two she-wolves crouched in sync, staring into each other's shivering gaze. "Bring it on, dear Luna." And with that, Violet had declared the fight just as the twins arrived at the mouth of the cave, but remained silent as they merely watched, cuddling Moon to warm her.

''chester.... take moon back to the cave now...'' hazel whispered.
he nodded, picked her up and carried her back to the cave.

~back at the cave the others are in~
''swift, luna found moon..'' he muttered as he set the pup down.
moon instantly bolted over and nuzzled swift.
''oh my gosh moon your safe!'' she yelped cheerfully nuzzling the pups head.
''moon... y-your okay..'' muttered buster his eyes opening a little.
swift looked over and started to cry tears of joy.
''buster your alright...'' she whimpered nuzzling his muzzle.
''well of course i'm alright swift.. it'll take more to get rid of me...'' he chuckled.
he sat up and moaned with pain from his wounds.
''i'll go hunt...'' chester sighed with relief and padded outside of the cave.

Unaware of Hazel, Luna was currently winning the fight of the brutes. Violet was slammed harshly to the ground, with a move so brutal it wasn't even in Hazel's dreams. Blood drizzled off the ebony-black wolf's pelt, the red was almost like a feature of tiger stripes. Luna's amber eyes roared like raging flames of fire, her claws drizzled in crimson red. As for Violet, the blood splotched like watercolored paints on her lighter fur, drool drizzling out of the corner of her mouth. Her fur was messy and stained in scarlet, her claws twitching non-stop. Luna's left faced Hazel, as the sibling of two gasped silently as she saw a wound on Luna's shoulder; the skin was practically torn off.

Hazel, for once, was worried about the pitch-black brute. Everything was so quick, the two wolves fought worse than any human in her nightmares, and they ran like streaks of color. The she-wolf known as Violet kicked back of her paws, the dust flying behind her. She rammed at Luna, but it was so quick Hazel couldn't tell if the muscular she-wolf had taken the hit. The next thing she knew, Violet was slammed onto a rock, Luna's claws gourged into her left shoulderblade, she limped as she got up... And her shoulder was misplaced. This is crazy, Hazel thought, but her only option was to stay out of this and watch.

Violet was losing, but Luna was still beat-up and tired. Fighting a coldblooded brute trained by her adoptive father wasn't a breeze. She panted, the sting of fighting rang into her ears, metallic taste foamed in her mouth. She yowled as a sharp pain inflicted her stomach, as she opened her eyes to face Violet's while she was on the ground. Her teeth clamped onto Violet's leg, making the she-wolf fall, and her kneecap misplacing. Her claws ruthlessly sank into Violet's neck, she nearly winced as she felt them break the skin. Weakly, she flipped Violet over, slamming her on her back, and ripped her claws down the she-wolf's spine, paralizing her. That was when she fluttered in blackness.

"Luna!" Hazel wailed as the ebony she-wolf flapped to the ground. She dashed over to her, relieved she was breathing, but worried she had fainted. Hazel forced all the brute things that Luna had done and gingerly picked her up, blood drizzling into her mouth. "Yuck," she murmured, hating the taste of blood, and carried her to the cave.

''luna!'' everyone in the cave called in shock as hazel carried the wounded she-wolf into the cave.
dragon especially was in shock as he ran over.
''hazel, what happened'' buster asked his eyes widened.
''huge fight... major wounds...'' she said spitting the blood that dripped into her mouth onto the cave floor.
hazel shivered and bolted out of the cave to the small river near by.
swift was in the very back of the cave with her tail curled up near her belly.
''will miss luna be alright dad?'' moon asked looking up at buster.
he nodded slowly to moon and looked over his ears pinned back a little.

(yes, moon now calls buster and swift her mother and father)

Luna's sight fummed to an opening as she found a glossy-furred muscular wolf worrying over her. She forced out a weak mumble, her legs floppy and exhausted. "Mmm..." she seemed to protest. Dragon's ears perked, as he nudged her in joy and curled up around her. "Easy there," she mumbled as he curled around her an ounce to tight. "Hazel!" she called out, regaining her wake a bit more. "What happened," she looked up to the sibling of two, who began to explain. "-Anyway, those wounds are really bad Luna-" She cut her off with a glare. "Please, Hazel. I've been through worse," she protested and lay against Dragon.

''i pretty much know you've been through worse luna, so have i'' swift said from the back of the cave.
she rested her muzzle near the tip of her tail almost falling asleep.
''miss luna thank you for saving me...'' moon said dipping her head respectfully.
buster looked down at moon smiling and sighed.
''how about you go over to swift moon...'' he murmured into her ear.
moons tail started wagging and she ran over to swift.

"You don't ever need to thank me, young one. Only few know what Violet would've done to you..." She replied. "What would she of done, Miss Luna?" Moon looked up. Luna's tail flinched. "Nothing to worry about..."

''hey dragon.. how about you help luna over to swift, she was wanting to talk to her'' buster said with a small nod over to the sleeping she-wolf.
he smiled widely and looked over at both of them.
''and you might be cheered up a bit luna, since you had been in that fight'' buster stretching back out onto the cave floor.

"That was a simple fight of loyalty," She replied in a dull tone, as if this was obvious and she'd just called Buster a dim-wit. She heaved up to her paws and gave a firm shake of her now clean pelt, and padded over to Swift. Her nose prodded at Swift's floppy ear. "Wake up," she murmured.

''hmmm...?'' swift mumbled in her sleep.
moon was looking over the sleeping wolfs bushy tail looking down, her tail wagging.
buster sighed.
''she is very tired..'' buster muttered.

"Obviously," Dragon rolled his eyes. Luna turned to Moon, who was bouncing on her paws. "Miss Luna? Could you teach me to fight? Please! Just a few moves!" She begged. Luna laughed and nodded, as she padded out of the cave. Dragon followed, trailed by Buster.

''you didn't notice why swift had her tail curled up so close to her? she has pups now'' buster said with a bit of joy in his voice.
he walked ahead of them humming as he sniffed the ground.
''i'm going to go hunting now, see if i can catch something big enough for everyone'' he called to them as he walked off.

(buster seems very happy now XD lol)

Luna turned over to Buster from teaching Moon a simple move. "Wait, are you serious? We still have to leave here..." Luna glared at him. Moon pawed at Luna's knee, as she turned back around and continued. "Buster, wait up!" she called. Buster turned as Luna headed towards the cave. Buster followed. "Swift, wake up, we're leaving." She nudged her friend.

''what luna...? why do we have to leave...?'' she asked sleepily.
she looked up and yawned.
''luna, what's wrong?'' buster asked walking up beside her.
swift's tail uncurled a little as she sat up and stretched.
faint whimpering came from her curled tail as three little pups cried.
''quiet little ones...'' she whispered reaching down to nuzzle their heads.

"They'll be here." Luna muttered and padded to the river. "Lets go." Her tail swished violently, her ears pinned back. Dragon nudged her, but her teeth gritted as she backed away, and padded across the river without looking back.
