Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → Warrior cat rp 1x1 with wolfgirl2398Chill wind slashed through the nursery, where Cloverheart loomed over Blossomkit's fur. "I don't really care about vanity," Blossomkit complained as her mother groomed her fur vigorously. "You don't want to look hump on your ceremony," Cloverheart murmured as she continued grooming. "Besides, Jaggedkit will be there with you. So will Eaglekit." She reassured. Blossomkit grimaced and jerked away from the silvery she-cat, and strutted out into the open, a chill cruising down her spine.
"Then I now name you Jaggedpaw." Shimmerstar's meow boomed over the clan. Blossomkit would be second to be apprenticed, since she was three sunrises older than Eaglekit.
The pale-gray tabby purred in delight, his tail slashing. "Your mentor will be Adderfang." The white tom meowed, looking down at the new apprentice.
"May StarClan guide your path."
"Blossomkit." Shimmerstar's sooth blue eyes flicked at her. "Step forward." He ordered, in a calm, distant mew. Her limbs shivering like the icy breath of wind, she obeyed and nimbly took a large fox-tail length forward, to face the stringy white-furred leader.
"Do you, Blossomkit of StreamClan, take the oath to protect your clan with the warrior code, even if it costs your life?" He meowed sternly. Even if it costs your life. It rung in her head. She would never forget this sentence, and she knew it instantly. "I-i do." She meowed.
"Very well. Then I, Shimmerstar of StreamClan, call upon my warrior ancestors for this kit's path to be lighted. Until you receive your warrior name, I name you Blossompaw. May StarClan guide your path." He meowed.
"Your mentor shall be Frostfang." Frostfang? Blossompaw thought, a bit in disbelief. Frostfang was vulnerable, as stern. She gazed over to the tufty white she-cat and pressed noses with her new mentor, hesitantly. "U-um.. Hello..." She meowed to Frostfang.
In return, she got a cold glare that made her spine chill, despite the scorching icy breath tickling at her. She didn't pay attention to Eaglepaw's ceremony, but only a spark of pride as the cats cheered for her.
dragonfang stood nearby watching cheerfully as her kits became apprentices.
(uh.. can you do thee ceremony? XP to lazy to type it in, lol, the twin kits names are patchkit, the tom-kit and swiftkit, the she-kit)
Ravenclaw sharpened her snake-fang-like claws rapidly on the crumbly surface of a stone. Her whiskers twitched, bewildered as she sheathed her claws and lie on the rock to gaze at the sunset. She sat there for hours.
Blossompaw let exhaled as Frostfang nodded in approval, and meowed in her cold tone, "You've done well. Its time to get back to camp." And padded out, at a pace a bit too quick for the exhausted apprentice. She gathered her quail and her squirrel rushingly in her jaw and scurried after the white she-cat.
silverflame walked over to a small pond that was in camp and lapped at the cool, crystal clear water.
maplestar walked over and sat down next to her.
''hey silverflame.. would you be willing to mentor an apprentice?'' the leader asked.
she looked up at the leader and nodded.
''and who would you like to mentor?'' maplestar asked once again.
''brackenpaw, he shows promise to the clan.. he's fast, strong, and cunning... almost like me'' she said with a small laugh.
the leader nodded.
''very well'' she meowed quietly and headed for the high rock.
''all who are old enough to catch their own prey gather at the oak tree for some apprentices to get there mentors'' she meowed loudly and all cats gathered around.
Blossompaw sat next to the golden-brown Eaglepaw, gazing at the mid-day sky. "Play-fight?" He asked, his vulnerable claws unsheathing. "Sure," She meowed, rising to her paws. She now now taller than Eaglepaw, and larger. Her own long, ruthless claws unsheathed. Frostfang had said she would be a fighter with those claws, but she was careful enough not to cause major damage. The shaggy-furred apprentice bowled her way, but she side stepped it easily and nicked him across the ear, leaving a light healable scratch.
"Nice one," He complimented, Blossompaw's tail flicking. He leaped onto her back, making the young black apprentice stumble, but not fall. She flipped on her stomach, slamming him under her weight, and turned, to pin him down. They stared at each other in silence, Blossompaw's grip still fierce.
Eaglepaw's head stretched up, as his dry, beady nose pressed against hers. Blossompaw's gaze went unfocused, as she grew warmer.
"Blossy, your really cute when your surprised..." He murmured, their noses still touching. "Eaglepaw..." She whispered, in shock. "Yes, I know I'm a mouse-brain and has probably just ruined our relationship. I just couldn't hold it," He admitted, dryly. "I haven't gone away yet." Blossompaw pointed out, in a small voice.
The now large and tall she-apprentice woke up in a hazy land of mystery. She knew what it was by the moment her vision cleared--She was in StarClan. A lithe, puny brown tabby padded towards her way, the cat's eyes were glassy and fortunate. The she-cat had a soft, respectful mew but what she told Blossompaw was shocking. "With a battle of flesh, blood and death, your loved one will fall." She meowed. Blossompaw's eyes widened.
"M-mellowfur! Please, please tell me what this means! I-i can't-" She stammered, but Mellowfur and the dream had hazed away. She woke up to feel a sharp nudge on her back, so reckless and harmful unlike Eaglepaw's nudges. "Blossompaw, wake up. You've been stirring and clawing the whole night." It was Jaggedkit. "Besides, the medicine cat wants you in his den."
patchpaw was in the medicine den listening to his mentor carefully on what was what.
''hi blossompaw!'' patchpaw meowed and turned around to where he could turn his head to either of them.
he looked to his mentor still listening.
''brackenpaw, silverflame has offered to be your mentor, do you accept her offer?'' the leader asked calmly.
he looked over at her confused but looked back at the leader and nodded.
''i accept'' he meowed.
''then your mentor is silverflame'' she said and looked to the other apprentices continued.
brackenpaw walked over to silverflame confused.
''you offered to be my mentor? why?'' he asked sitting down.
''because you actually show potential to this clan...'' she murmured and touched nose's with her new apprentice.
''training starts tomorrow'' she said and walked off towards the warrior den.
his ears flattened a little and he blushed faintly.
he wasn't sure what to think, her offering to mentor him? to him he was just very confused.
so he just went back to the apprentice den and curled up to sleep.
Murmurs rose over the clan as Maplestar made her stern announcement. "Quiet," She ordered calmly, her tail whipping like a blade. "Shush," Ravenclaw hissed into a white apprentice's ear softly, who shut her muzzle due to respect of the warrior.
"We will send two patrols. Cindereyes, Rowanclaw and..." Maplestar hesitated. "Ravenclaw. You three will be on the first patrol. I repeat, we have a battle against StreamClan, whom wants the part of our rightful territory." She meowed sternly. "On second patrol, led by I myself, will be Silverflame and her apprentice."
Ravenclaw's whiskers twitched as her long, deadly claws unsheathed. Her eyes lashed in a spiteful glare among the territory, as she crept stealthily on the log, following Rowanclaw.
Her tail twitched in a reckless manner, as she trudged quickly in the darkness, up-beat for the action. A yowl came from the trees, one of StreamClan's.
The group gave a quick glance at Rowanclaw, and rushed forwards in a top-speed sprint.
Ravenclaw lunged towards a silvery she-cat with a plumy tail, her claws slamming into the she-cat's shoulder. The she-cat yowled in agony, using her weight the throw Ravenclaw off, and slash at her cheek.
Ravenclaw's teeth gritted, her claws sank ruthlessly into the she-cat's neck, scarlet-red drizzled out. She's good, but not good enough, Ravenclaw thought, as the she-cat yowled in agony. "Cloverheart!" Yowled a large, black-and-white apprentice fighting Cindereyes. The apprentice abandoned her fight and rushed towards the she-cat known as Cloverheart.
"Y-you! M-my mother..." The apprentice stammered, staring at the choking she-cat. The she-cat croaked out her last words, they were full of pain.
"Blossompaw, my kit... Y-you've blossomed.... Your future... It will be successful," She croaked. End her, Ravenclaw's mind echoed. Barely baring to do it, Ravenclaw cringed her eyes and brutefully yanked her claws out of the she-cat's neck, as Cloverheart fell to the ground. "Cloverheart!" Blossompaw yowled, in pain of heart. "Y-you... I'll kill you!" She hissed at Ravenclaw, lunging at the OakClanner.
The apprentice restrained her wail of agony as her mother fell to the ground. Your loved one will fall, The words of the StarClanner echoed in her head. The bruteful calico had pinned her to the ground easily, Blossompaw in shock of how strong she was.
"I show mercy on you. You are too young to know the true world. What I have done for you will make you stronger," Hissed the she-cat. The OakClanner's claws slashed harmfully over Blossompaw's ear, which she knew would be her first scar.
"I-i'll kill you... One day..." Murmured Blossompaw under her breath as the OakClanner padded away with their group. StreamClan had lost.
"Blossompaw! Were's Cloverheart?" Asked her brother. She promised us that she'd go find softer moss for our nests after the battle... She promised... Blossompaw thought. Her agony got ahead of her, and she leaned on Jaggedpaw and wailed.
"S-she.... The OakClanners... A calico..." Blossompaw wailed. Jaggedpaw remained silent. He pressed his nose to Blossompaw's forehead, murmuring quietly. "She will take her rightful place in StarClan..." He murmured.
Blossompaw nodded as they rushed towards the apprentices' den, not even listening to Shimmerstar's speech about how they had lost. Blossompaw drifted to sleep.
She woke up in that familiar, hazy dream-area. A brown tabby padded towards her solemnly. "Blossompaw. You will be--" the apprentice cut him off. "Why do you have to do this to me?! I'm sick of your prophecies! Let me be! You are nothing but a fake!" She yowled to the StarClanner in rage. "Your loved one has fallen. But you will---"
Blossompaw interrupted again. "Stop with the prophecies!" She yowled, and began sprinting for her life, desperately hoping to wake.
A veil of mist prevented her from seeing, but she carried on. The trees became crooked and dreary, the ground damp. Skidding to a stop, she gazed around. A battle-scarred, sharp-eyed ginger tabby with ruffled fur was in her sight.
"Hello, young one. What brings you here?" He asked, his voice deep and sly. "You're another StarClanner. Go away!" Blossompaw hissed, beginning to turn around. The tom's paw sweeped under her left hindleg, the impact making her stop and sit down by force. A StarClanner wouldn't do that. She thought. "W-who are you?..." She asked, her head cocking.
"You are rather intelligent. I am Foxnose of the Dark Forest." He meowed.
"Dark Forest?" Blossompaw asked. "We are against StarClan, and we train cats to be stronger and better during the night." He meowed. That caught Blossompaw's attention.
"Really? Against StarClan?" Blossompaw asked eagerly. "I'd like to join." she meowed.
"Are you sure? Most cats take convincing." Foxnose noted. "So?" The apprentice asked.
"Very well. You will wake now, and tell none of your choice. Training starts next time you come." He meowed.
''that fight was intense...'' brackenpaw muttered.
''no kidding? be lucky i was around and knew a few tricks to deal with fights...'' silverflame grumbled.
she winced as the med cat sat some wet moss on top of one of her wounds.
''don't brag okay? it annoys me sometimes...'' he grumbled in return.
he didn't even flinch when the cold wet moss hit the wound on his flank.
''sorry...'' she sighed.
he shrugged and rested his muzzle onto his paws.
