Fawn whimpers slightly, pressing herself to the wall, keeping as
far away as possible. "You better leave now." Ryder growls out, his
head twitching slightly, as a bit of fur grows on his chin, as he
begins to lose his temper with the stranger.
"Hah! Darn right you won't hurt her." He growls out, his body
making soft ripping noises as he turns into his wolf form. He opens
his large jaw letting out a snarl. The small apartment leaves no
room for movement now with three wolves occupying it's space but
Ryder doesn't care, he won't take it back due to his stubborn
pride.
The wolf smiled gently, exposing silver teeth, her white fur
shimmering in the moonlight. The wolf was still larger than Ryder,
looking strange and somehow serene
"Really Rhyder, stop being so proud. I am not here for a fight. I
just wanted to visit."
"Even your younger sister is less ignorant than you."
"Fawn, do you think you can talk some sense into your brother?"
Ryder raises an eyebrow, a bit confused. "How do you know my name?"
He asks, his left ear twitching slightly. "And obviously she is,
she hasn't been through what I have." He mutters angrily, his
patience running low with the stranger who thinks they can come in
here and tell him how to act. Fawn shakes her head slightly, not
wanting to make her brother mad at her.
"Pfffttttsssshhhh HAHAHAHAHAH! Omigoodness that is just hilarious!
I was right here in the room, she called you by name! Heheheh, get
some more observance into that proud head of yours" the wolf says,
gently tapping Rhyder's nose with the pad in the bottom of her
paw.
The wolf lowers her head next to Dawn's "he isn't the brightest
one, is he?" She whispered to Fawn
He opens his jaw a bit angrily then barks out, "She called me "Ry",
She never called me Ryder. And Ry could be short for a lot of
things." He growls out looking over at Fawn. Fawn lays down,
burying her face into her paws.
"Oh! Oops, spoiler alert! Don't mind me, just breaking the fourth
wall. Ok kids, I'll tell you why I'm really here. I'm giving you a
warning. Slayers are coming to this town, so I'm trying to get all
the innocents, not counting humans, out of here. I could even give
you a ride, but I doubt you trust me." The wolf said, the spikes
retracting into it's body
"Hmph, well.. thanks for the warning. We can walk ourselves though.
Let's get moving kiddo." Ryder says shaking his head as he pads
over to the door. Fawn sighs and nudges the other wolf. "It was
nice meeting you, uh- sorry I don't know your name." She says
smiling slightly. Ryder huffs and she trots over to him happily.
The wolf's fur recedes, leaving a child looking to be from 7 to 10
standing there, being an unknown gender, who says "Oh no problem.
And be safe. Oh, and make sure not to stay in wolf form!"
The child tips their hat, bowing "And by the way, it was a pleasure
to meet you."
