Sam returns Blade and gives Atala five Pokeballs. "let's do this." Sam says. a bunch of newer recruits see this all happening and they run over to watch

Sam looks at Atala and says," if i die doing this, give my pokemon to Holly. she'll know what to do with them.
the arrows start firing the poison-tipped arrows, and Sam doges each one expertly. before he knows it, the challenge is over
he gets grazed by a single arrow, but looks at Atala and says, "next challenge, please"

Sam picks up the Pokeball for Alolan Raichu. he sends it out. "hi, Raichu! I'm Sam, and we're going to be working together, alright?" the Alolan Raichu smiles and giggles, then, it cuddles Sam. Sam then looks up at Atala and says, "what are we going to be battling, Atala?

Atala give him a "You'll see" look. Suddenly the floor opnes beneath Sams feet. "Level one" says a voice over. An Alakazam appears.

"Raichu, use future sight!" the Raichu charges up a future sight and releases the energy.
the alakazam uses psychic and Raichu doges it. "excellent, Raichu! now, use thunder!" raichu uses a large thunder and it crashes down on Alakazam. it charges up psychic, but then, future sight kicks in and knocks out the Alakazam.

suddenly, the poison from the arrow that grazed Sam starts to kick in. a sharp, splitting pain hits Sam, but he manages to be able to battle. "Raichu, use thunder." the thunder misses and Flareon strikes back with a flamethrower that hits Raichu. "use psychic, Raichu!" Sam says. it hits and crits and Flareon goes down. Raichu sees Sam hurt and it cuddles him, trying to make him feel better. "n-next battle, A-Atala." Sam says, hurt by the poison.
(gotta go AFK)

"What is this place?" Lola asks. She had never seen it before, but it was huge. There were crystalline structures stretching up the walls, the light reflecting off their colorful exteriors, creating a dazzling light effect.

"Uh... what are you doing?" Lola asks. Or at least, she tried to. the words seemed to be played in her head like a recording, rather than her actually speaking. She tried to talk, but each time she kept hearing her voice in her head only.

Sam sees the Sceptile that looks like Blade, and for a moment, thinks that it IS Blade. then, blade bursts out of its Pokeball (that has been where Atala has been standing) Sam sees the real Blade and is assured that this is just another sceptile.

the poison hurts Sam once again and he visibly winces in agony. "Raichu... use future sight," Sam says weakly. he remembers that he was hit by the poison once before, but it wasn't enough to kill a person. this time, though, it seemed as though they wanted him dead. after Raichu uses future sight, Sceptile uses leaf blade, which Raichu doges. "u-use psychic..." he says to Raichu. the psychic does damage, it's even a critical hit! but, the sceptile still has about half HP. it goes for duel chop on Raichu, which gets Raichu down to critical health. then, future sight hits the sceptile and it goes down.
Sam looks up at Atala and says, "a-are we allowed... to use f-full restores?"
