Luke doesn’t complain about the grunts going away, so he doesn’t question it. He is waiting for Holly to be done with Sam so he and Amber could give her the legends to try and reverse the corruption.

Luke is happy about this. He gives Holly the Latios pokeball and waits for Amber to give her the Latias so Holly could cure them. After this he goes back to his room to rest.

Sam's normal smile is gone. now, he just looks depressed. he and Blade go back to their dorm, knowing that they can't go on the Kanto mission.

Blade looks angrily at Holly as they leave but Sam looks ay Blade and says, "stop. we were the ones being reckless, Blade. it's not her fault." Blade looks at Sam, then understands. the two sit in their room, looking sad
