Veronica ignored the commotion and kept looking at the landscape, moving away from Pokémon that came close. It seemed like an old natural instinct to do so, as she didn’t even have much fear of them. At the same time, she felt like deep down she was. “Why can’t I remember anything...” she said under her breath.

Rain grimaced for a moment as if in pain, shaking her head. Her eyes scrunched shut and she grit her teeth.

Laying quietly, she remained on the ground even after waking up. Pretending to sleep, she listened to Doctor Rain discuss the situation, feeling comfortable not moving due to her injuries. "I'll wake up now. I've heard your explanation, no need to repeat. Thanks for helping me, I still have no idea what happened..." She lazily muttered, one Pokeball rolling from her sling bag. Guste snatched it and accidentally pressed in the button, making a large, brown seven foot tall bird popped out, looking down at Guste with an unamused expression. She frowned, looking up at her Corviknight who bent down to pick her up by the back of her cloak. Now standing, she leaned against her pokemon for support, her knees bent in pain.

There was a gleam of eyes from around the corner in Rain’s home, a disgruntled Pokémon not liking so many people and Pokémon in it’s house.
Rain sighed, spotting her midnight Lycanroc sulking and peering around the corner.

The Houndoom let out a happy rumble, ears perked fowards and alert. Dispite her injured hind leg, she moved with relative ease.

A sharp feminine voice rung out from an approaching figure, a shorter woman with red hair tied up in two buns and wearing a lab coat approaching. “Get off the girl’s back kid, she has her reasons.” The woman crossed her arms, the gesture stern but not unfriendly.
“Professor Cherri.” Rain gave a soft nod to the woman.
