There was a low sound from Arienne and a dark hemisphere encircled Arlaekh. She looked back toward the others, mouthing the word “run”.

Tendrils of flame slammed at the darkened hemisphere, burning blue and white.

Aurora simply grabbed Aurelia by the collar, threw her onto her back, and half-pelted, half limped to Rain's house.

Arienne stood her ground, using everything she had in her strength to keep them at bay. And then ice began building up around her feet.

Arlaekh's flame slammed again and again at the barrier, spurred by Arlaekh's wild desperation and fury. A powerful whip of white-hot fire slammed into Verano and sent him into Zafiro.

“Mgh...!” He was sent crashing to the ground, while Verano ate the Sitrus berry that Zafiro had gave her immediately. It regenerated instantly due to the weather and she launched another Whirlwind sending her into a tree

Arlaekh wasn't even stunned, although she did wince a bit; unnoticeable to them. Now freed from her dark hemispheric trap, she turned her fury on Zafiro and sent a tremor of flames through the ground and rise up as pillars, fueled by her anger. The wind only served to make the flames stronger.

Zafiro leapt onto Verano’s back and took to the skies. He fled the scene with her after accomplishing what he wanted to do; rescuing Aurelia.

Rain was already gone, on her way to the scene.

Arienne cried out as the ice creeped up her legs, she couldn’t stop it.

Arlaekh watched him go with a bit of a sneer. Coward. She turned to Arienne, "Just us and you." She snarled. Flame leapt to her hands at her call, causing her eyes to glow so bright they made her look crazed.

Aurora followed the girl back to where Aurelia was, nuzzling her trainer.

Jisu turned around, She didn’t want to help. But she felt she needed to, She released Magmortar, Hydreigon, Weavile, and Magmortar. Weavile dashes to the scene and started to break the ice that was starting to invade Arienne. Magmortar fired a large blast towards Arlaekh.

Arlaekh clenched her hand into a fist. The fire rushing toward her stopped, "You haven't figured out my ability yet, have you?" She sent a large portion of the flame, in the form of a large whip, to slap Weavile instead. The other portion simply burned the ground around her.

Arienne grabbed the Weavile into her arms, her arms getting the brunt of the flames instead of the Pokémon. Her eyes blazed with pain and she cried out as she protected the Pokémon. Rain rushed out of the trees, and Cassus let out a sharp laugh.

“This is no good. We can’t stay here..we need to get back into the fray...” Zafiro murmured to Verano. “I’m so sorry, Verano...I know there’s fire and ice but...will you stick with me?”
Verano nodded and picked up a Yache Berry that she saw Zafiro take.
“Let’s go.” They flew back to the forest, right back to where he was before

Weavile felt the burn on her but didn’t care. She would thank Arienne later. She climbed out of her arms and broke the ice on here foot. Jisu has ran up to Arienne, “Are you alright? Your arms.” She said while examining her. Hydreigon has made his way in front of them. Magmortar fell and was put back in the pokeball.
