"As you might be fine with flames and magma, not all of life thinks
so. Like I love lightning and storms, some hate them for their
destructive ways." She says and walks away
“I know I said you were an angel... But you're more than
that. You've come down upon this battlefield... as an Angel of
Death" ~Bungo Stray Dogs
Seeing as it was more or less over, Albafica smiled before slipping
back into the lake and dispelling the storm clouds. Burying himself
under the silt until only his eyes were uncovered, Albafica closed
his eyes to rest. Churning up the rain clouds had been draining and
while he wasn't clear on how he did it, it was an interesting
discovery
When Mai returned to the meadow, Lyla was squawking and jumping
nervously. She got anxious when Mai wasn’t around, but this is the
first time she’s been like this. “Lyla, calm down!” It wasn’t any
use. The Raven kept squawking and jumping. “LYLA, IM RIGHT HERE!”
The raven calmed down just enough to look at her. Lyla jumped on
her with so much force, she scratched her head. “MAI’S BACK! MAI IS
BACK!” She squealed. “Hey there Lyla, I missed you too.” She was
glad to be back in the peaceful comforts of the meadow. She was so
tired that she fell asleep as soon as she laid down.
He shaked his head
"That stupid mia.... Ah! My eyes still hurt.."
He rubs his eyes and gets up out of the lava
He sighs
And gets back in going as deep as he could in the volcano
"It was only a joke.... But... This isn't the first time something
like this has happened...this isn't the first time I've been
confronted for my destruction..."
Lost in thought
Remembering his family
Mia's words had brought back some old memories with his parents
Lupis watched as everything happened
"It seems they had it under control didn't it"
He said with a calm tone
Watching mia fly off after what she did to drake
"She seems to be quite powerful doesn't she... Hmm.."
His curiosity was getting stronger
All these dragons
With limitless power of was extraordinary to him
"Well I might aswell head to my house seeing as I would like some
more rest"
He heads back to his cave
Mai thought about what she said to Drake. “Was I too harsh?” She
thought. She didn’t know what got into her. Was it the voice
influencing her? Was it all of the pent up anger she had? She
didn’t know, but she hated being mean. “It must be sad to be so
stuck up about yourself.” Man, she hated herself for saying that.
It wasn’t something she would say at all. The voice was coming
back, but it was quieter. She could hear her own thoughts, but they
would be corrupted by its evil words. She wanted to tell someone,
but they wouldn’t be able to help her. Besides, they would think
she was evil, a freak, and a terrible person. Once she would start
talking, it would lead to how she (or the voice) killed her
parents. She would start crying and that would make her look weak.
“Maybe I can talk to Lauriam, they have always been nice to her.
She would understand.” She thought.
Tending to the forest and coaxing plants to grow again, Lauriam
sighed as the hard work of a rollercoaster day started to weight on
the earth dragon. Glancing out over the area, Lauriam realized with
a sinking feeling that the forest and the meadows appeared to be
one and the same, the only difference being the occasional trees
that broke up the monotony of grass and hills. Drake really did do
a number on the local plant life and Lauriam felt righteous anger
at that. The plants never deserved this kind of treatment but the
more Lauriam focused on those feelings, the less they seemed
appealing. Everything would die sooner or later and these plants
had the misfortune of receiving the former. Sighing in confusion,
Lauriam got back to talking with the plants to hopefully chase away
those thoughts
Drake continued thinking
"Was I being evil... Was I taking this to far..."
He thought
His kind tended to be out of control he never ment to actually hurt
anyone
But he did
His memories kept haunting him
As he started going up to the surface your evilstop....your magma hurts people!you shouldn't be here your just a destructive killing
machine..Stop.... No it's not true... I knew it was a bad idea keeping you..No Stop itI H a t e you drakeStop..!it's your F
A U L T Drake!STOP
IT!
He roared when he reached the tip of the surface
Growling and looking up into the sky
"It wasn't my fault..."
He said quietly
Mai heard a roar from the volcano. She instantly knew it was Drake.
Was he wanting revenge? Was he going to apologize? She didn’t know,
but she felt negative energy from his mind. She didn’t want to read
it, she only wanted to know the energy his thoughts gave off.
Something about the negative energy seemed familiar... she couldn’t
place her finger on it... “Stop thinking about it, you are just
going to get carried off and read his mind.” She told herself.
Maybe she could use telepathy? She could tell Drake something that
would ease his mind. She still felt bad about Drake, so she wanted
to help him.
“Drake! Hey, you ok? Sorry about earlier, I shouldn’t have said
those things... I will try to make it up to you whenever you need
it!” She said in a calming tone. Drake wouldn’t be able to respond,
but she could talk to him later. She doubt Drake would listen to
her. She flew into the sky, hoping to get a better look of the
island. It looked a little bit better from a few hours ago. She saw
Drake at the tip of the mountain, but decided not to go over there.
Drake roared after estari blinded him again
Scratching his eyes before falling back into the lava
Struggling to see he just let himself sink
the lava didn't hurt him so what was the point of struggling
He wasn't going to die
She saw Estari blow light at Drake and felt a hinge of anger, but
it soon turned to panic after Drake fell into the volcano. “Dra-
oh... I’m dumb... He’s a fire dragon, it won’t hurt him.” She said
out loud. She didn’t know if Drake got her message. Probably not
considering he was very distracted, so it wa s probably lost in his
mind.
Glancing up, Lauriam frowned at Drake's roar. As a believer in the
inherent goodness in others, Lauriam didn't want the think that
Drake was causing trouble again. Slowly walking back over, Lauriam
didn't try and climb the volcano this time, sore muscles reminding
the earth dragon of the struggle. Instead, Lauriam tried to see if
there were any plants in the volcano itself that could Lauriam
could watch from. Luckily enough, there was a weed growing near the
top of the mountain that agreed to Lauriam's request and showed the
other what was happening inside the volcano. Watching silently,
Lauriam's body moved by itself once Lauriam saw that Drake had
fallen into the lava forgetting for a second that the liquid hot
substance wouldn't harm him
Estari returned to her cave. now that Drake was out of her way, she
could go back home
After she returned to her cave, Estari looked around for more
trouble. it was her dream to be a hero.
Alex woke up on the forest floor.. Did he black out? Where was he?
He couldn't move. something was on top of him. He couldn't see
anything other than the ground. He looked through other timelines
for location and time. He found that other versions of himself were
trapped, but drowning in the lake, so he might be by there. It was
a tree on top of him. Blown over by something?
Mai woke up in sweat. Something was wrong. What was wrong? She
didn’t know, but she knew it was bad. She scouted the island and
spotted Alex. She never really talked to him much, but he was
trapped under a tree. A huge tree. Could he get it off of
himself? She hoped he was still alive, or at least unconscious. She
dived down and saw very little movements, but that meant he was
alive, even better, awake. “Alex, are you ok?” She asked. “Do you
need help?”
“I’m going to lift it up. Be ready to roll out!” Mai decided not to
use the weird psychic thing, as she didn’t feel like she needed to.
She was surprisingly strong, and lifted the tree easily. Alex
rolled out and Mai dropped the tree, making sure that nothing was
under. “Hey, you alright?” She asked.
"Yeh, everything fine." "I'd be more fine if every time I did
something I didn't see myself burning or dead on the ground..."
Alex thought. Mai could've decided to be macho, and it would've
killed him if she did. Hey, anyone would be in a bad mood if they
saw around 30 crushed corpses of themselves on the floor.
