Rin snapped. She raised her hand and sent a large swath of shadows slamming into Yagyu's body knocking her from the tree and sending her tumbling away. She turned on her heel, shadows enveloping her, and in her place stood a large shadowy wolf, with black fire-like wisps coming off her body.

(Quinn got a big time skip)

Quinn gets to the group in time to see Rin attack the strange woman
He runs over to see if everyone is ok before looking straight at the woman
"Is...is this her rin... ?"
He asked with an icy glare towards the woman

Rei watched rin attack
"Need some help!"
She goes to attack the strange woman after rin hits her with her attack

Basilia found herself a few feet away from Venus panicking a bit. She had followed him to final get answers and wound up near a hunter. She couldn't...she wouldn't die again. So then she wondered why she wasn't moving. Surely she should be fighting or running.

Basilia nearly leapt up in join when she saw the hunter was restrained before pausing. Was that Yagyu? It was! Geez...what should she do? While they only interacted once she still owed the woman a favor for help she had been given as a human. With a sigh she found herself putting Rin in a choke hold.

Quinn never gave her that type of look
Like she did something
She growled looking away from the strange woman

To there surprise tho
they saw rin in a choke hold
Quinn attacks basilia
Punching her skull and throwing her into a tree

She winced before standing. It figured others would help. Ugh...why did she have to feel the need to repay her debts? Chances were she'd have to run after this. But...if she was alive...it would all be worth it. She ignored Quinn and went back to Rin once again putting her in a choke hold.

Biting her bones and not letting go

she growled and shouted

Quinn went to check on rin

Rin shifted back to human form, gasping for air. She had lost her notebook so she resigned to sign language. fine. shaken but fine.

She braced herself for pain but was surprised to find she felt none. The punch early had really hurt so why didn't the bite. She recalled all she could about skeletons from her hunter days, skeletons were immune to slashing and piercing damage but bludgeoning damage was incredibly painful to a skeleton. So therefore the punch was quite painful were as the bite wasn't.
Much to her surprise Rei chose to yell and growl allowing her to slip free. Rookie mistake. If you fight with your teeth don't yell or yawn. She acted like the bite hurt her as she went to attack Rin again.

The shadows that had slammed into Yagyu seemed to be motionless on the ground. Like nothing was there. Yagyu came off of another tree branch. She had dove away last second. She stood, Waiting.

Rin snarled and opened her mouth wide. Jet black flames raced for the skeleton and surrounded her in a ring.

She then used the flames to attack the tree on which Yagyu was hiding on.

Basilia began marching towards the flames without a care. Another mistake though she couldn't blame Rin. She too had once tried to set a skeleton on fire when she was a hunter. It didn't go to well. She was lucky she had a holy object on her or she might have been defeated.
Stepping into the flames she mentally dared Rei to keep biting her. She could try and burn or let go and not burn.

Yagyu jumped to another Cedar. The skeleton intrigued her. Seems she must have known them from a past life.

Basilia held up her former hunter's cloth hoping that would remind Yagyu of the time she gave her advice in the bar. If so she'd know why she was helping. If not though it didn't matter as she was paying back her debt.
