ART SHOP WILL BE CLOSED INDEFINITELY FOR THE TIME BEING. CURRENT REQUESTS WILL BE WORKED ON AND SENT PRIVATELY WHEN FINISHED.

Turns out someone is stealing my art. They are also attempting to sell a few user's characters for dA points as "adoptables". Thank you to the user who notified me (not naming names for your protection).

You do not know how livid I am. It's one thing to steal my art, but to try to sell someone else's characters is ridiculously underhanded.

I know the person who did this is likely reading this, so this message is for you: You are only hurting yourself by doing this. It's a much better feeling to create something yourself and see people's honest compliments than to steal someone else's hard work and get unwarranted praise.

I'm considering either a serious rework to how this shop works or a complete closure altogether. Again, requests already on the slots will be finished and sent to you via Palpad or PM to prevent these pieces from being stolen.

Holy heck, that's terrible. ; 0; Have you reported the user both on here and on deviantArt? That should go for serious offense and a permaban (or a temp ban, at least). I'm sorry this happened to you, and to those whose characters have been stolen. :c

I really love your artwork, it's a shame someone would go this far. Hoping for the best for you and your artwork. ^^ (I can try reporting too if that helps your case.)

I recommend keeping finished pieces for people private if you continue this if we can't find out or stop whoever is doing this ;; so it'd be harder for them to even steal the art. But you shouldn't even have to do that, it's absurd.

I'm gonna report those images and hopefully we luck out and the deviantart staff is actually working and see it sooner rather than later. If you have a dA account it'd be best for you to file a DMCA report against them since they don't allow us to really report for that, only the owner of the art ;;

I have a DeviantArt account and I told the person not to steal the artwork. I know it won't work this time, but I will going to report it via moderation team. My dA account is FilipinoBreloom, though. Don't worry. I'm one of the people to be taken care of it.

Who knows, but I do have proof/screenshots if needed showing that they're linked back to the account that's stealing greenie's art. They didn't hide their tracks at all, and they even poted their own advent calender contest entry this year to seal the deal

Thank you everyone for your support! Through a lot of investigation on both my part and yours, we've managed to figure out what's happened.

I ask that you please do not contact the other party involved. We'll get everything situated. I understand some of you may have already done so, but I believe at this point it will only escalate the situation and turn it into bullying if you message them further.

After clearing out the current queue, I will continue running the art shop, but will now proceed as follows:

-Artwork will be uploaded to the thread with a large ugly watermark (so people who just like browsing can still see all the art; avatars will be sent privately since they're so small)
-Artwork will be sent to the requester without watermarks via Palpad or PM
-"Free avatars" will be uploaded publicly to my dA in the future for foolproofing

I hope this situation doesn't occur in the future! Please remember that art theft hurts both parties involved; you can only improve through practice and hard work.
