I don't know if I should make this a suggestion thread instead but here goes:

What if for the next SCE, we also have a goal, like this time, but do a couple things different?

For instance, the week before, there is a sign up log, and each person signs up for a ten minute slot. Each slot only lets 30-50 people in, and one slot per user. Have all these slots available for a 24 hour time period....

Then, the goal per user is something they can accomplish in the 10 minutes, maybe 600-900 clicks?

Then the prize drawing is after the 24 hours are over.

This might reduce lag since fewer people would be clicking at once, and it would also be fair to all the users (since they can choose a time when they will be online).

Just an idea, and thought it looked better here.

You can react badly all you want, but not everybody's just "going to be nice" and not voice their opinion when they feel something is wrong. I wouldn't say Riako was being rude, but his reaction a few pages back was a bit uncalled for...

Harkness, Remy: That does sounds like a good idea and I'm totally willing to code it. Don't worry about "too hard to code for Riako" - I really would like to have smoother SCEs, so everything would be worth the effort.

Diana, I do stay calm and mostly don't try to comment on "Rage"-comments, since it wouldn't do any good, most of the time. But I don't like two things: Players who state that I either do nothing for this site and players who say that I do bad things to this site on purpose. That is what has been bugging me a little bit in the past few days. But, still, I have to live with that :D
Most users always mistunderstand that and think that I get sad or mad when users are disliking features or events. But that's totally not the case - I'm okay when you don't like something that I coded. I'm not expecting you to like everything, and I'm also not making everything perfectly fine everytime. I deal with negative feedback and try to improve. And I don't get mad at these people.

Closing this thread now, I think this is better for everyone :b Send me a PM if you have anything to add - or open a suggestion thread if you feel like you've got an amazing idea that would improve the website performance or the SCE
