"Yeah, back together. .. No. Not yet. .. Tell him I said hi, yeah?" Mel ripped the dex away from her ear and hung up, a look of annoyance spreading across her face.

Riu flicked his ears, but wisely chose not to question it.

"We can go now," Mel sighed, tucking her dex back into her pocket. The Lucario nodded, brightening slightly.

Connor had chosen not to change, content to sit in the sand and build sand castles with Pom, who seemed surprisingly excited to be near water again.

Robert had changed his jeans for a pair of shorts while Jamie completely changed into swim trunks with little palm trees on them. "You know I may convince Mira to drag you off for a swim." Jamie mused to him.

"Why would you do that?" Robert asked.

"Because you never take off a single layer on your torso. I'm sure Drew would enjoy seeing your supposed six-pack."

Tiger decided to go to the Pokémon center and change, since he needed to get a Pokemon for the beach. He ran off into town and went into the center. He let Yuki, and Akio out of their pokeballs.

Akio ran onto the beach and grinned cheerfully. He had recovered from the fight in Johto and looked a lot healthier. He glanced at Connor and waved a kind greeting.

Lion smiled as he watched Faye surf. He then ran into the water to swim.

Kibo nodded and smiled in amusement. "That's true." He said gently and wiped some fish that was stuck to Toka's muzzle.

"I can hear you and if this wasn't a family friendly beach I'd stick a certain finger up!" Drew yelled, she wasnt standing that far from Robert and Jamie.

Shakily, Faye stood up on her surfboard, riding a few choppy waves.

"Get in! The water's fine!" Mira called, giggling.

"No, thanks." Amana sighed. Aite lifted him up and tossed him in, causing both Tira and Char to double over in laughter. "Aite, YOU'RE DEAD."

Toka snorted. "Thanks. But you've got some, too," She pointed her tail to his chest, hoping to make him look down.

Tiger came back out wearing his swim trunks, his shirt was on but the shoulder that had been burnt by Houndoom still looked like it bothered him as part of the burn stuck up from under the sleeve. He grabbed a pokeball and his Mantine, Saf, came out.

Lion tread water and blinked, "you're doing great, Faye!" He called cheerfully

Connor lifted one hand to greet Akio, green eyes flashing warmly as he returned to the sandcastle he was focused on. "We will need shells." He stated with a smile, turning slightly to look at Pom, who chirped and scampered off in search of shells.

"Thank you!" Faye called back, waving for a split second before returning to focusing on her surfing. She rode a wave back towards the shore, grinning as she passed Lion.


"Yeah, yeah." Drew rolled her eyes fondly before diving back into the water, popping up near Mira.

"Ooh, mantine surfing. Haven't done that in awhile, but I still suck at it so OH WELL," Mira grinned. She splashed Drew.

Akio nodded in response to Connor and looked around for shells.

Tiger nodded and got on Saf. "It's the only way I'll surf." He said with a grin. Saf gave off a cheerful squeak and went into the water.

Lion smiled and nodded he swam towards the shore.

Kibo shook his head and laughed. "I can't believe I did that too." He joked gently finished his fish, and got to his feet. He then playfully tackled Toka into the water.

"Nu-uh! This is my.. Uhh.." Connor hesitated briefly, hands stilling over the sand. ".. Creation! My creation! I have got this!" He grinned, returning to patting the sand into shape.

Pom returned, brandishing a few shells in her tails.

Tempest landed and released Mel's arm, allowing her to drop onto the sand. The Honchkrow vanished back into his pokeball, while Riu forced himself free, landing in the sand with a grin. Toffee crawled out of her trainer's backpack to greet Riu with a grin.

Jamie immediately dived into the ocean and popped up behind Drew with a mischievous smile as he cupped his hands and filled them with water.


Rober shook his head at Jamie before laying down on the beach.

Tiger sat on Saf and waved to Mel when she landed. He looked over to Akio, who was walking along the beach in search of shells. Cyndaquil was now asleep on the rock in the sunlight.

Mira squawked in surprised and laughed, splashing Suki right back. She dove underwater.

Toka rose to the surface and gasped, spitting some water out. "Hey!" She laughed, grabbing Kibo by the foot and dragging him into the water as well.

Tiger laughed in slight amusement at Mira, and got to his feet. He nodded to Saf, who went further out.

Mel waved back to Tiger with her usual cheerful attitude, tucking her hands into her pockets.
