After a little bit, Lee had weakened the Cottonee enough to throw a pokeball at it. One... Two... Three... Click! Cottonee has been caught!

"Woo!" Lee cheered. Ax jumped for joy. "I'll call you Nimbus. Your fluff looks like a cloud!" He laughed, picking up the pokeball.

Mochi blinked and turned to look at Marisa curiously, letting out a small squeak.

"I'll go with you!" Sydney offered immediately. "Hey, we can battle together! That could be fun!" She grinned, skipping forward to join Jean whilst humming a random tune.

(timeskips to towards the end of chili and amaya's battle bc i cant write battles against someone im controlling lmao)

"Dodge it, Ika!" Amaya yelled, her Snivy dodging an Incinerate from Pansear, who had really low health after Shana did some damage. "Now! Finish it with Vine Whip!" Amaya said, grinning as Pansear was defeated.

[a few people are at the dreamyard, a few at route 1 (or route 2 since i accidentallly called it route 1 but its tecnhically 2 lmao. amaya is battling at cilan's gym, maybe you can be at the restraunt?]

"Lillipup!" Chili called.

"There's more?! This is my last Pokemon, too!" Amaya yelped. "Uh! Growth, Ika! Then Vine Wip!"

(Wow two lillipup battles-)
Jean felt a bit better about Marie-Paul, as training had brought her to level 8. Now he was midway through a battle with a lillipup, which he planned on capturing, if it didn't knock out his mareep first, who was at low health. "Ahh- try thunder wave!" He watched anxiously as she attempted the move, but the lillipup doged.

Melody was sipping on a hot chai tea, watching as some pool fool, Amaya, was battling Chili. "Surprised she has lasted as long as she has." She quietly muttered to her starter, a Munna named Luna.

"Munna. Mu-Munna." Luna mused around a mouth full of food.

"Don't speak with your mouth full Luna." Melody replied even though it technically made no difference as she couldn't understand her pokemon anyways.

"Uhh.." Sydney paused and looked down. Minty was on the battlefield this time, squeaking confidently as she swept her tail across the ground. "Okay! Pound!"

Minty chirped in agreement and leapt forward to use the move on a Patrat. Mochi watched on from her perch on Sydney's shoulder.
