Training had brought Mochi up a good three levels, much to both Sydney and Mochi's delight. It was fun being able to walk into the tall grass without fear of being attacked.

With a rustle, a gray Pokémon appeared and swept its tail across the ground.

Sydney frowned. "What's that anyway?" She asked curiously, holding up her pokégear to scan it.

Mincinno, the chinchilla Pokémon.

She nodded and stuck it back into her pocket. "Okay Mochi! Absorb!"

The Foongus nodded and leapt forward to use the attack. The Minccino winced in annoyance as it took the hit. It returned with baby-doll eyes.

It went on for a bit, until Sydney managed to fish a pokeball out of her bag, tossing it at the gray Pokémon.

The ball shook violently before clicking, and Mochi let out an excited squeak.

Sydney gasped. "We did it!" She exclaimed excitedly, lunging forward to pick up the pokeball. "I'm gonna call you Minty!" She added, releasing the Minccino from her pokeball. Mochi squeaked out a friendly greeting.

"Crap! I've got a disadvantage." Amaya mumbled, fumbling for Shana's Pokeball. "Go! Shana!" She called, sending out the level 11 Munna in place of Ika.

Chili smirked. "Hmm! Ineresting. A psychic."

Vincent watched Lee go off to train and his smiled faded, looking down and sighing as he went to go do so himself with Echo.
''guess we'll have to find out ourselves'' he said while Echo nodded.

after some battling Lizzy trained Krook while keeping him healed and managed to catch a male Purrloin she named Leon and a Female Munna she named Mina.
-Krook has reached level 13 after a few battles, and has forgotten Rage and has learned the Following: Sand Attack, Torment, and Sand Tomb-

Jean got up, realizing Sydney and Mochi left. "Come on, let's go train!" He called to Marisa excitedly. "Maybe our partners can get really strong!"

Sierra looked back to see her Rockruff laid out on the ground a few feet back. "Rockruff! Are you okay?" She said, rushing to her Rockruff. She quickly picked him up, and now rushed to the pokecenter. A brief moment of silence can be heard from the pokecenter, and then Sierra bursts through the doors, running to Nurse Joy. "Hey! Can..Can you help my Rockruff?" Sierra said, as Nurse Joy stared at the Rockruff before quickly taking him into the back of the Pokecenter. Sierra started to pace up and down the pokecenter, consumed with worry for her Rockruff.

"Huh! Psywave!" Amaya commanded, Shana using the move.

"Lick!" Chili commanded.

"That's super effective, right?!" Amaya gasped.

"Ampharos?" Sydney asked curiously, reappearing out of the tall grass again. "They're really pretty." She mused, though it was mostly to herself.

Jean chuckled. "Yup, but it's also pretty strong!" He glanced over to Marie-Paul. "Most people keep their starters with them all the time, say it's bad not to... maybe I can keep her with me and she can be strong-" he looked around to Sydney, before walking into the tall grass.

Lee whistled as he walked, Ax strolling through the grass to look for pokemon. With a shrill squeal, a Cottonee leapt out. "Yes! Cottonee's evolve into Whimsicott, I believe, which wouldn't be a bad pokemon to have," He grinned.

The Cottonee just growled at Ax, who used a weak tackle.

Nurse Joy came out a few minutes later with Sierra's Rockruff. Her Rockruff was awake and happily barked at her trainer. "Rockruff was just a bit exhausted, that's all. Nothing too much to worry about though!" Nurse Joy said. "Thank you soo much!!" Sierra replied, quickly picking up her Rockruff as her Rockruff smiled at her. "Alright. We gotta get you a partner Rockruff! Then we'll train and get some badges so we can battle the Pokemon league!"

Marisa smiled smally at Mochi, it was barely noticeable but a smile nevertheless. "You're cute..." she whispered.

"How about, uh, Defense Curl!" Amaya commanded, Shana curling up and defense raising.
