Greg recovering from his laugh
"Good tried we call you ten, imagine having to say the name tenebris all the time, way too difficult name of a name
Ten sounds better, simple and easy to remember"
He said, pushing the hair covering his eye to the side

Matt was curious about Tens reaction but he decided to push that away- It was none of his business and Ten doesn't seem to be that kind of person who talks about feelings, at least not right now.
Instead, he let out a well-hearted giggle and pointed at Greg "Finally somebody gets it! I can't even properly pronounce it and i would say that my English is at least acceptable! Through Tenebris is certainly easier than Hyr- Hiree-....." His face went blank for a second, replaying the word in his head over and over... It didn't work. "You know."
Then Tens words finally reached his brain and his eyes instantly filled with Child-Like curiosity "Wa-Wait a minute, It's only a title? You... Don't have a name or did I got something wrong?"

Greg giggled back "I am a British man and I still can't pronounce that, can we just call the H person Michael or something, also I think he means that in a "I was disowned and I need to regain my honor to use that name again" way"Gregory said

"Well, Tenebris is a name passed through my family, given to the youngest, usually, as a brand of sorts. Like a warning label, I suppose." Ten explains, going back to tugging on his t-shirt a little. "Alhike isn't a last name, it's a title. In Relinas. Whatever, it doesn't matter." He waves his other hand in an impatient way. He didn't expect the conversation to end up here, especially since most people already know about it. Must be a different Earth, one that's not as populated with monsters, he thinks, picking up his now filled coffee cup and taking a sip. "And it's Hiraeth, I presume you have Welsh on your Earth, right? Unfortunately, it doesn't have an English translation."

"I mean we do,but I will repeat my self,I am a Britishman, you know guys with lots of rain and tea,he from that place, that little island that is extremely rich for some reason"he said looking fun at his nationality
For such a rude guy,he enjoyed making comments like this, and if he is in a good mood he seems really nice
Greg can only be described as weird at this point

Matthew seemed genuinely interested- He wanted to know more about how this world works. It seemed soo familiar to the Earth and yet... Soo distant. The air was different and the grass seemed greener here- And there were also Monsters. How could he forget about them?
At first, Tens wording puzzled Matthew- Warning, Brand... Those words seemed too cruel... And then there was a recognizable sorrow in Matts brown eyes. Something wasn't right- Tens presence returned to its normal form, not that casual and comfortable that was there just a few moments ago. And the Domestic Feeling of the house disappeared with it.
He should not have brought up that subject. There was soo many other questions on his mind but he is not going to repeat the same mistake. Enough interrogation.
For the first time that day, Matt didn't have anything to say. And he hated himself for it- Things were just getting better. Why did it have to happen now? Why did his brain have the worst timing in the World?
He forced himself to smile, not daring to drag last bits of happiness in this room down with him.

(Now i understand that it may look OOC to just have Matt pull the switch like that but i assure you that i have a logical explanation for it- One that is most likely going to be talked about later so no spoilers for now.)

Ten raises his cup for another drink, then pauses, staring at Matthew. "Seriously? No obnoxious question far too personal for me to answer? Not even an annoyingly light-hearted comment? Maybe I didn't have your personality as well as I thought I did. Souls below, that makes me uncomfortable just thinking about it." He shivers internally, masking his curious expression with a long sip off coffee.

Greg having a evil grin all over his face he walked right next to ten and leaned towards him
"Speaking of annoying questions,I know you said I need patience but it would be optimal if you told us how we will do it,you see with out vague knowledge we don't hold a chance and if you tells what to do last minute, that won't work, but if you do it early on,you save time later"
He said with a serious voice, unlike his usually playful responses or the intense yelling,it was a nice change of pace, probably won't last long either.

Ten glances at Greg, glad to be back on a topic he feels much better suited for. "You can't just hunt monsters, Gregory, you have to find them first. In the case of most species, they are nocturnal, so it's best to find them during the day, but it's also harder. The ones who are awake now are much easier to spot, but are also harder to take down while the sun is still up. Currently, I'm working on finding a pack of wyverns - amongst all the other projects I seem to constantly be weighed down with - but there are no recent leads. Besides, you all are inexperienced and weak right now, taking down anything above a class one monsters would be... suicidal."

Matthew just stuck out his tongue, an act that was too childish even for him "Well, I apologize Dud-Mr. Tumblr. Turns out that Humans are rather complex creatures- And coming up with questions isn't needed, you seem to be able to manage on your own. Who would have guessed you are soo talkative when you want to be?" He made sure that none of his words sounded like insults- Sometimes people misinterpreted him and then things got bad really quick. There was a hint of happiness in his voice but certainly less apparent than it was moments ago.
Matt got up from his chair, no longer being able to sit in one place. He needed to do something -Anything- just to make that familiar feeling in his stomach disappear. He would bear with it any other day but not now. He could try to walk it out... Wait, That would be weird right? He cant just walk circles here!
When did it even came from? Was it there in the background for the whole time and he just didn't notice? That's certainly possible.
He let out a flustrated sight and swung his backpack on the floor - A little too harshly- and pulled out his small sketchbook. It was stylized to resemble a slice of melon but it was covered in stickers of Cartoonish Animals and Smiley Faces. Then he returned to his chair as nothing happened.
"Random Inspiration is the best inspiration." He announced "Also- Greg is right, Ten out of Ten, Well said. Keep up the great work and you will get a promotion, Man. Are Hyacinth and Lee going to teach us the basics or are you going to make a spot on your schedule?" Matt said, looking up at Ten.

"Ugh, definitely not. I don't do weapons." Ten let his lips curl during that, showing his displeasure. At least, not anymore. Mentally pushing aside that thought, he continues. "Hiraeth and Lee are both acceptable fighters, they'll train you... enough." He seems physically uncomfortable setting that statement forward, even if it's not really a true compliment. Sliding off the counter, he picks up his device off the table and tosses it to the ground. The small shadow it creates shifts, forming hands, and starts to take it apart while Ten adds: "Of course, all of you are human, so it might be more difficult without the advantages."

Greg even if loud he knew how to play his moves well and strategize ,after all he did go to law school
"Actually quite smart"he said "you are right, heck I am pretty sure a drunk 40 year old alcoholic ain't nothing compared to the experience needed to fight a monster, but sense they are no leads" he said grabbing a chair that just so happens to be conveniently close and sits down
"Tell me about the weak ones,if we need experience,we need to learn how to even survive against weak ones which I assume Lee will explain,so what kinds are there"
Greg asked
Greg before becoming really insecure and anti social,he liked to chat in order to get information easily
This is what he tried right now, hoping it works

Ten stares at him for a second, genuine unease on his face. "This isn't a joke, right? No, that's definitely sincerity in your eyes." He takes a breath, suddenly very anxious about how this is turning out. People don't ask him for things, they're usually not up for the barrage of insults and 'well duh' looks. He likes the familiar feeling, but at the same time wants to ball it up and set it on fire. Then throw it in an ocean. And feed it to a shark. Clearing his thoughts once more, he replies as calmly as he can. "Yeah, no. That's not my thing. If you want to read my notes on them, sure, but I'm already way over my limit of interaction today. I rather sit here and have you all ignore me, like the other humans did."

"Greg, Leave him alone" Matt said, unexpectedly and stopped doodling into his Sketchbook. He was looking at Ten and Greg with an unreadable expression. His voice was bitter- Through he seemed to instantly regret his tone as his eyes softened in silent apology.
He glances at the Sketchbook, examining the small doodle that was not resting on previously blank page- A Small Jellyfish, a Cup of Coffe replacing the Hood. He certainly wasn't an Artist. The whole thing looked flat, No shading and he didn't seem too keen on coloring it.
Matthew then closed the sketchbook and stuffed it back into his bag, returning his attention back to Greg and Tenebris. "I mean- There is that thing called Social Exhaustion, You know?" His eyes now seemed to focus solely on Ten "If you want we can leave- No hard feelings, We will get it. You just need to tell us... Sometimes its just a little bit too much, Heh? Talking is nice but sometimes i would give away all my possessions for some peace and quiet" He smiled- This time, it wasn't forced.

(This will be just a very bad short af post to get Felix back into this)

Felix heard voices downstairs, so he decided to join in. Quietly taking the stairs one by one, on the last few, he slipped and his planned silent approach turned out to be much louder than anticipated as his feet hit the ground just a little too hard. "Verdammt", he silently cursed to himself, looking up with a slightly embarrassed blush on his cheeks. "Heeeey, mornin' everyone", he said with way too much enthusiasm to mask his awkwardness - which, sadly, failed as his blush was giving it away.

Greg was left honestly confused
He didn't quite get what he did wrong or what was up with matts odd response
So he was honestly left in his chair with a confused and jugdgemental expression
"I ma just go up,maybe I will be able to get my trench coat now,ye bye"he said and got up walked back towards the stairs(omg it autocorrected to chairs) and then saw Felix over there and gave an odd look
"Ayy yo,do you happen to have my trench coat or is it still upstairs?"he asked the short blonde boy

Felix held up the trenchcoat he took with him. "Here, I thought I should take it with me and give it to you instead of just leaving it in that room", he said and handed it over. For a brief moment, his eyes met the ones of the other boy and widened a bit. "Y-your eyes are. Completely black", he noted, and for some reason, he couldn't help but start shaking a bit as he remembered that the demons in Supernatural usually had black eyes like this.
He slapped himself internally. Cut it out, Felix, this ain't a TV show.

"Souls below, I forgot there's more of you." Ten mutters, rolling his eyes as Felix shows up. "And stop smiling at me like that, Matthew, I wouldn't have said anything if I thought you were going to take my side on it." He takes another drink of his coffee, actually willing his body not to blush and succeeding. Nobody has smiled at him like that in a while - well, Hiraeth doesn't count, his smiles pop up like weeds - and the idea of an almost-stranger liking him is far too much. He didn't want this to be Team Eyeliner again, he couldn't deal if it ever came to that.

Greg took a minute to process the comment while putting on the trench coat
When he understood it he laughed a bit and looked at the the blonde boy
"He sweety,no I ain't a demon, I just have hyphema, you know the jokes about baby falling with their heads?,he blame the nurse"he said
Today Greg felt good,he hadn't laughed this much a while, and this was just the start of his day, finally he woke up without worrying about taxes or debt
