she nodded at Mira and smiled a little, but flinched at what Chanel said and her smile faded.
Holly looked down again and simply stayed silent, crossing her arm's tightly around her chest, biting her lip slightly before speaking up.
''you assume things to quickly, you know, that'll end up being your downfall in the end'' she said bluntly as she looked at Chanel, though she was honest when she said what she did.

Maggie waved as she walked back to the group. She saw everyone looking like they all hated each other at that point. "Over a Zigzagoon?" she thought, as she stood by the others. "Stop acting like youngsters... let's find the professor, before a Poocheyena attacks someone." she mentioned, looking at a couple Pooches in the grass play-fighting.

"Good plan," Mira yawned. Toka flew up suddenly, with Mira still on her back. "I CAN'T SEE HIM!" She called down. "FRANKLY, THIS WAS A DUMB IDEA."

"I don't think any Poochyena are going to attack us, as long as we don't pose any threat to them." Z said calmly to Maggie. Nightshade nodded in agreement to what her trainer had said.

Chanel chuckled at Holly's comment. "Sweetie, I will have no downfall. I'm too good for that." she commented, thinking very highly of herself. She then turned to Maggie & Z. "I'm not scared of some little Poochyena. In case y'all forgot, they don't pose a threat to any of us; we're literally some of the strongest trainers in the Hoenn Region." Chanel stated matter-of-factly, gradually growing more annoyed as she thought.

KJ looked at Chanel and spoke up. "Besides, a pack of Poochyena consists of about seven to ten Poochyena. We outnumber them in Pokemon since we all have six, I assume, and, like Chanel said, we're much stronger than those wild ones." he noted.

Maggie looked back on Chanel. "While that is true, Poochyena could do loads of damage...long before a Pokemon could attack it. But yes, I see now that it is unlikely that one would attack us. Maybe we radiate some sort of powerful aura of sorts? Well, I guess being attacked by now is about as unlikely as the chance that what we're doing here will be meaningful at this point..." she added, nodding at the group, sporting her usual casual expression.

"I'm not from here, I'm actually from Unova." Z corrected, still having a calm tone "And are you sure about the downfall thing? Cause people who think so highly of themselves are the first to fall." she finished still speaking in a calm tone.

"I've got four, actually, but four is all I need," Mira added. Toka flew down and landed. "No, I thought that we were all called to Hoenn because Professor Birch thinks we all need extra training," She rolled her eyes at Chanel. "You are not the best trainer here. We are all equal, and we've all lost one fight at one point or another. That's called being humans, and trainers at that. While a pack of poochyena might not pose a considerable danger, they have to you and me at one point."

"Didn't say I was the best, just too good to have a downfall. But thanks for implying it, I'll take that as a compliment." Chanel smirked, her Braixen letting out a short "-Xen" in agreement. She then sighed until KJ, who apparently had known some things about Chanel's personality already, stepped in.

"I think what she meant was that collectively, no matter where we're from, that we're strong trainers in Hoenn together at the same time because both of us are from Kalos..." he corrected, growing quiet afterwards.

"Saying that you have no downfall is basically saying that you've never lost. That would make you the best trainer in the world. I know that's a blatant lie," Mira said simply, stretching out on Toka. "...Okay, thank you," She sighed, and smiled at KJ. "...What are we doing? Do we even know each others names? We're all bickering for nothing."

"Ok, how about we don't kill each other right here and now? I say we should get back to looking for the Professor. What he said better be important, he called me right from the dock in Lilycove..." Maggie remembered having to throw out her precious ticket to Alola to come to Littleroot. "I'm a legendary Pokemon researcher from Sootopolis, but i'm currently focusing on the Ultra Beasts, and the Hoenn legendaries of course. Though I only trained to be prepared to fight and catch these Pokemon...not go to the Pokemon League or something actually interestsing." Maggie added.

Chanel chuckled with a sly smirk at Holly though didn't say anything further as the others were getting annoyed with it.
"You may think you've won the battle, but I'll win the war." she threatened Holly quietly.

"Well... I'm KJ and I'm from Kalos. I only know of Chanel because she almost became Kalos Queen around the same time I was earning my place in the Kalos League." he introduced, this only boosted Chanel's ego and made her give a childish smile while throwing her high-pony behind her head.

"For those of you who don't know, my name is Chanel. Like KJ said, I almost became the Kalos Queen though now I'm taking on Pokemon Contests, specifically in Hoenn & Sinnoh." Chanel introduced. "This is my partner, Braixen."

KJ smiled at everyone who'd introduced themselves nervously. He then gasped as one of the Pokeballs attached to his belt loop violently shook. "Pancham, really?" he scoffed, sending out the Fighting-type. "Pancham!" it cheered as it stretched, fixing the sunglasses on its head.

Maggie giggled at the Pancham. It was rare for her to giggle, at least since she became fully enveloped in her legendary Pokemon research. Maggie's Altaria cuddled it's trainer. "How weird it is...everyone being so different." Maggie said to the group. Her Altaria nodded in agreement, flying right next to her trainer. Maggie zipped up her coat, and regained her serious and blunt expression. "Still, where is the professor? Altaria, can you fly and and see if he's coming?" Maggie asked her Pokemon. It agreed, soaring up like a cloud floating into the atmosphere.

"Nice to meet you channel," Mira yawned, mispronouncing her name. Toka couldn't tell if it was on purpose in a mocking way or an honest mistake. She giggled at Pancham. "Pretty pokemon," She told Maggie, referring to Altaria.
