Lucia followed them out, occasionally stopping to look behind them.
There wasn't anyone there, bless that parent and Kanti, but she
couldn't help but be on edge.
Andromeda remained in wolf form as she padded out of town, deep in
thought. She hadn’t seen many other wolves, and was perplexed by
the actions of the townspeople this evening. She had never seen a
human defend a hunter.
Kat sighed and shook his head. "At least they let us go..." He said
lowly, and rubbed his injured wrist. "I just wish we knew why that
Wolf was acting off..."
"Maybe it was abandoned?" Lucia suggested, holding her head up with
her hand, wincing. "Or just in a really bad mood. Seriously, this
is why we have a bad rep."
"Let's hope it was just a freak occurrence", Andromeda,
growling lowly. "It's hard enough living in society the way
things are. It wouldn't be wise to act like the beasts that they
think we are," she said.
"I'm not sure what happened to that wolf" Kat muttered lowly.
"Maybe it was just annoyed with what the humans have done to us, or
he could just hate humans..." He grumbled.
"I totally don't blame it for hating humans. But you gotta admit,
they know how to make good junk food." Lucia said, unwrapping a
small piece of white chocolate and tossing it into her mouth. "You
want a piece?" She offered Kat and Andromeda, knowing Yukio and
Kanti had their own candy.
Andromeda made a face, grimacing and baring a few teeth, " Junk
food is a good name for it, " she said. She shook her head,
ridding the smell of the candy from her nose, and padded forward a
few lengths ahead of the group.
Andromeda's eyes also followed the deer as it ran by, but she was
still full from the deer she had eaten earlier this evening.
Wonder if they knew eachother..., she thought aimlessly. She
looked up at the night sky, admiring the clear quality it had this
evening.
Andromeda paused in her step, looking back to the others, " I
noticed an abandoned den up ahead somewhat, when I was wandering
out here waiting for you guys," she said. " The smell of
bear still lingers in the cave, but the animal is long gone,"
