"I'll be fine. The deer just bruised it" he said kindly. He
looked back out of the cave and sighed. "I just hope we won't be
spotted right away when we decide to go back into a town..." he
mumbled lowly.
The sound of birds chirping woke Kat the next day. He yawned and
looked around the cave, at first confused to why there were two dog
like animals in the cave to. He then flicked an ear, and remembered
the events from the day before. He then partially walked, and
partially limped out of the cave in search of food.
Kanti blinked awake and was somewhat surprised by her paw under her
head. The events of yesterday suddenly came back into her memory
and she got up, stretching.
Lucia woke up and few minutes later, looking around in slight
confusion. She shook herself as her memory returned and she stood,
stretching and padding outside. Her side stung from the scratch
from yesterday but she ignored it in favor of looking around.
Kanti nodded and looked around, sniffing the air. It was still
thick and damp from the rain the previous night, but she managed to
pick up the scent of rabbit.
Kat padded through the forest he narrowed his eyes as the branches
whipped his face, he then saw the deer from the night before.
Crouching down, he focused on the animal, which was grazing on the
nearby grass. Kat then leapt at the deer, and struggled with it for
a moment,
Lucia had managed to pinpoint the location of a rabbit, leaping for
it and catching it in her jaws. She bit down and it's struggles
ceased. She swung her head around, sniffing the air.
